I already said Monster was okay in leaving since he ran the risk of getting jumped by 4 guys. I'm simply asking if his gf/wife was with him, would he have reacted in the same way. I think it's a very reasonable question.

When I was about 29-30 I was leaving a club in NYC with my girlfriend and a group of 4-5 guys were hanging out on the block near where I parked my car. One of them goes "hey sexy what you doing hanging with that punk, why not f@%k a real man like me" (paraphrasing) and I just saw red. I am not a fighter but won't back down and I do not like being disrespected especially since I typically am respectful of others. I walked in the middle of that group and got in the kids face. The whole group was like "he was just joking bro, no disrespect" and one of them gave me a pound diffused the situation and I walked away..could have ended differently and probably the wrong move on my part but luckily it worked to my advantage...I ended up marrying that girl...(well on second thought maybe it didn't work to my advantage...lol)

Fair enough but let me change the scenario slightly. You're with your hot ass gf/wife and they bump into you and you drop your coffee. They start calling you a little ***** and a pussy. Do you still apologize and walk away knowing deep down that your gf will think you're a pussy if you do?

I walk without any hesitation with wife present, never risk her safety under any circumstance.
She is worth far more than my pride.
If your lady judges you poorly by that, you need a higher quality female.

Goes home with me but her perception of me "could" be permanently altered one way or another. Ultimately not why I did what I did. In that moment I wasn't thinking about her perception of me frankly I didn't care but I was upset that someone was trying to disrespect me and make me look like a punk and a fool.

JJ your altered situation doesn't change anything. You still walk away from it. The only instance in which you would be forced into a fight would be if they started to **** with your woman or touched her in any way. At that point you have no choice but to defend her and catch an ass whooping. Otherwise you swallow your pride and walk away with her and if she is stupid enough to see that in a negative light then frankly you're dealing with one dumb fucking broad.

For what its worth, the guy had the right idea in trying to get the guy off his back but he didn't commit to the body slam correctly. He needed to tilt back more so that he would slam the kid's head onto the asphalt. Sure it could have killed him but in a real fight I am worrying about my life not theirs.

If you ruled the world. I know my wife wouldn't expect anything less of me than to hit him over the head with a sledgehammer that my wife carries in her purse for situations just like this. It's written in our wedding vows and I promised to hit every guy that challenges my man hood in my life that includes stepping on my shoes,clogging up my toilet. I'm sure your wife would appreciate you not acting like an idiot and end up getting jumped by multiple people unless your wife has the mental capability of a four year old would she ever think like that.

Good idea, I've seen that happen before but it can back fire if the guy in control moves his position and is aware and cause him to kill himself.

yeah.. he could of killed him and fucked his life.. but its pretty hard not to once you got that juice flowing through your veins.. so i get it...

im too old to fight.. so i wont unless im attacked physically.. the last two times i worked a heavy bag ive fractured the same wrist both times.. so its been a few years since ive boxed out the back.. and its my favorite way to exercise..

Oh it absolutely was unnecessary. Kid was salty as **** for being body slammed on the asphalt. I can guarantee you that was his reasoning for it.

Probably not your best recourse of defense in that position. That guy was much bigger than him as well but you saw the backward punches did nothing to make him release the choke. His positioning would also disallow you to get in good elbow shots to the ribs not to mention once the choke is set, it doesn't take long to render you unconscious. Flailing away with desperate blows will only quicken that short time required.

Your best recourse would be to first focus on separating his arms. Easier to do if you have a significant size/power advantage. Once you get separation, you can commence with delivering more powerful blows.
