(Scene Takes Place In Team Locker Room, Before First Playoff Game)

*Since the Croom passing, the Inferno have stuck more to business, and playing hockey. It keeps their minds off real life, and gives an escape from reality for most of the guys. The locker room has been eerily quiet for the most part, and never could that be more correct than tonight. The men start showing up to Inferno Arena around 5 PM, as the game is scheduled for 7 PM. The fans are start showing around 6 PM as well, as they can't wait for the playoffs to begin. Chicago might not have made their playoff run pretty, but they definantly had a lot on their table while doing so. The guys all sit at their respective lockers thinking about what they're playing for. Kerin Mitchell has been known to give the players speech before each game that counts for a lot. He thinks about what he wants to say. Time passes by, and its now time for the Inferno to put on their gear and get ready to warm up, and prepare for the game. The guys skate out on the ice, with the fans already packed into the Stadium. Once warmups are done the Inferno heads back to the locker room, while the entire arena darkens. Eminems "Lose Yourself" starts playing. Meanwhile, Kerin Mitchell stands up from his seat and delivers his pre game speech*

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/d-H-TbOAte0?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/d-H-TbOAte0?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>Eric Follman:

Kerin Micthell: Well guys, it's a been a rough ride but we made it. We all made it here. Even Croom. We're in the playoffs, and tonight we have to show a world of people and skeptics that we belong here...*pauses* We all have a champion inside of us. Some of us have already proved it *looks at Chad and Eric* and some of us have yet to prove our inner-champion *looks at Jon Boyle* This may be the only opportunity some of us may ever get. You never know when in this world you'll go. Take Croom for example. One day he's on the ice with us...the next moment he's gone.

*The Inferno fans are starting to cheer, as the stadium is showing the teams' pre game videos, such as the Pre-Game warmup speech Kerin made and the tribute video to Michael Croom.*

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/i4_F_ZkVgsk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/i4_F_ZkVgsk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Kerin Mitchell: So like they say in the speech, we must "go out there and take it". This opportunity doesn't come everyday, where we can go out there and make another run for it. And we have that chance. We have that chance tonight! Now let's go and there and take IT!!!! *guys all stand up at once and gather in huddle*

Chad Fellers: Lets do this shit!

*The men head onto the ice, ready for a playoff run in front of the home Inferno crowd.*

Chicago, IL- The UHL commisioner has announced that the 2013 Playoffs will be removed of double elimnation. His reasoning for the matter was to make playoff hockey "even more competitive" than it already is. This is big news for all teams that have made the playoffs. It means that they won't have the two chances they were used to. One and done is the new attitude.

Chicago, IL- As Chicago made it into the playoffs on a shut by Kerin Mitchell, the Inferno looked to start the playoffs off right with a win, but they couldn't do that, as they lost in bad fashion 4-1.

--Season In Review--

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/O4jszSh04yk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/O4jszSh04yk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Chicago, IL- The season in Chicago was definantly one to remember, and one that every Inferno hockey fan will never forget. The ups and downs were extreme, as if it were a scripted season. From making the playoffs in the final game and overtime, to Michael Croom's death, the season was one that will go down in history.

The Inferno started out with a completely different roster than they finished with. Ron Marini, Dustin Thompson, and Brandon Ferguson would all remain with the team for only a short time, but left their mark on the team. Especially Ron Marini, who dated team Owner Victoria Hill, and once hearing about the affair between Hill and Croom, would never play another game for the Inferno. Ferguson and Thompson were both soft spoken players who stuck to their jobs on the ice, which is never bad to have.

Than, on a cold fall night, Michael Croom was severely injured in a hit and run motorcycle accident, and changed the entire season. The guys were shocked at first, but in time, got over it, as they thought Michael Croom would make a return eventually. That wouldn't remain true, as Croom would die of complications nearly a month after the accident. This gave the Inferno a huge burden to hold for the rest of the year, and it showed in their record. Many of the guys couldn't focus on the game, and the team locker room wasn't near as up beat as before.

The Inferno would still manage to make the playoffs on the last game, and last shot of the regular season, as Kerin Mitchell nailed a rebound goal to send Chicago to the playoffs. Their happiness would be short lived, however, as Chicago would quickly be eliminated in the first round, even after outplaying their opponent.

Next year shouldn't see much change in the Inferno lineup, if any, as all of the players contracts remain in-tact. We should see the same starting lineup, which will hopefully just get better in time. Here's to the Inferno's fifth anniversarry, and hopefully not as hectic of a season next year.

C | Chad Fellers: 38 goals, 16 assists, 54 points
LW | Eric Follman: 28 goals, 23 assists, 51 points
RW | Kerin Mitchell: 5 goals, 15 assists, 20 points

LD | Jon Boyle: 0 goals, 8 assists, 8 points
RD | Jordan Charles Jr: 6 goals, 23 assists, 29 points

--STILL CRUSHED, AN INFERNO STORY--
By: Kerin Mitchell (Inferno right winger)

infernoplayersbanner.png

After the championship win last year, they were the favourites to achieve everything this season. Under the lead of owner Victoria Hill, the news spread like wild fire that her wishes were not to keep the team as it is. She sought changes, but she could never forseen the changes that've changed the Inferno forever.

Last seasons success rendered in huge celebration among the team and the Inferno fans, but there were also a backside to the party going on. Victoria Hill managed to attract Michael Croom to that level that he'd found himself getting out of her bed early in the morning, as Ron Marini knocked on the door to the very same hotelroom. Ron Marini instantly left the team without further due since he couldn't play for a corrupt team as he seen it.

Ron Marinis relationship with Victoria Hill seemed to have ended, but still he couldn't forget. At ”the Whistlers” a Northern Irish inspired pub, he'd come in contact with a unknown man. Witnessess from the Whistlers who wish to remain anonymous, claims to media that he'd seen Ron Marini talk with the unknown man. He'd overheard Ron saying things like ”I'ld like it dirty” and ”I don't mind, just don't make it quick”.
Rumours going that this unknown man is in fact Geoff Ballistini, a third-cousin to Victoria Hill on her mothers side.

Later on that same night after Ron Marini visited the Whistler, Michael Croom got severely injured after a hit'n'run, as Croom was riding his motorcycle. The emergency rescue were quickly at the scene and brought Croom into the hospital.

At first, Croom looked to be okay, he was still seriously injured, but yet alive. Althought that'll come to change, when he about a month later suffered from unexpected difficulties at the hospital, and died. The hospital who didn't surveill Michael Croom when he experienced the difficulties and died is being blamed by the NHS, National Health Society. The hospital claims that their followed their approved routines, as Michael Croom didn't show any need for continuos surveillance, since he seemed to have recovered well from the incident. The loss was grave at the Inferno hockey team, as well as with his family.

After the heartbreaking season that was 2014, the Chicago Inferno now look at the brighter side of things. Their team will be completely the same coming into next year, as it seems Victoria Hill will not make any off season moves for the upcoming season.

Chad Fellers will remain team captain, with Eric Follman and Jordan Charles Jr. the assistant captains. Kerin Mitchell will remain the locker room leader, while Jon Boyle stands as the strong, silent type.

mc71patch.png

Chicago will honor Michael Croom by wearing his patch on their jerseys this season

Chicago will never forget the effect Michael Croom had on the team, and each of the players. For that reason, the men will be suiting up with the "MC 71" patch on the Inferno sweaters this season.

The players will attempt to get back to the promise land next year, after a short, bitter playoff session. Chad Fellers put it perfectly after that game, saying "Well, you know, we all know we outplayed them. In every aspect of hockey. We outshot, outpassed, had more scoring chances, but sometimes the puck just doesn't bounce your way, and that's the fact of the matter. We're all dissapointed. But we must keep our heads up, and get out there next year and make it our best. For Michael Croom, and all the Inferno fans."

One thing is for sure. The Inferno should have an interesting season next year, but I think I can speak for all Inferno fans when we say we don't want it "as" interesting as last season.

Inferno Career Stats:
C | Chad Fellers (CPT): 147 goals, 112 assists, 259 points
LW | Eric Follman (AST): 65 goals, 99 assists, 164 points
RW | Kerin Mitchell: 5 goals, 15 assists, 20 points

LD | Jon Boyle: 0 goals, 8 assists, 8 points
RD | Jordan Charles Jr (AST): 11 goals, 41 assists, 52 points

--Injury Bug Bites Inferno--
Kerin.jpg

During morning skate winger Kerin Mitchell blocked a shot in a defensive drill. Kerin is expected to miss the first few games of the season with an undisclosed injury.

Kerin Mitchell who got the Inferno into the playoffs last season is expected to be a bigger part on the teams offense. Hopefully this setback for the Swedish winger will only be a short absence of the teams line-up.

Captain Chad Fellers was asked about the details of the injury on Kerin Mitchell.
"Sorry guys, due to teams policies I am not able to release details on any injury. Seeing this just happened today in practice, it will hopefully only be a few days".

Chicago, IL- The Inferno season is underway, and the Inferno find themselves without Kerin Mitchell for the first couple games of the season. Kerin watches from the bench, but cannot help on the ice as he is used to.

Chicago found themselves in the game big time late, as Fellers tied it up with a late shorthanded goal, but they couldn't hang on.

INFERNO ANNOUNCE TRADING CARD DEAL

ericfollmantradingcardfront.png
ericfollmantradingcardback.png

Eric Follman will be at the Willis Tower Saturday morning to sign some of his Inferno trading cards

Chicago, IL- Well, with Victoria Hill at the top of the Inferno totem pole, the guys in the locker room have to come up with ways to make money to spend on their locker room. Today, they might've just hit a breakthrough, as "Inferno Trading Cards" look to be a smash hit.

"Well, it was really Eric's [Follman] idea. He's got a pretty big ego, so he loves seeing himself of TV or on the internet. He was talking about being on a trading card, than Kerin said we should sell them, so we went for it. I love the way they turned out," said Jordan Charles Jr about the Inferno's new fad.

Kids of all ages are lining up in stores throughout downtown Chicago to get their hands on the trading cards. Numbers of the sales are already being reported, as it looks like Chad Fellers and Eric Follman top the charts for the Inferno faithful.
1)Chad Fellers (180,000 cards sold)
2)Eric Follman (150,000 cards sold)
3)Kerin Mitchell (93,000 cards sold)
4)Jordan Charles Jr (74,000 cards sold)
5)Jon Boyle (43,000 cards sold)

Fans will also be pumped up, as the Inferno announced a signing session with Eric Follman at the Willis Tower Saturday morning at 9:30 AM.

The Inferno will continue to release new player cards throughout the season. Word on the street is a special Michael Croom card is in the making.

COLLECT THEM ALL!

Chicago Inferno Mourn Loss of Cubs Great Ron Santo

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FVeGstkFMUc?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FVeGstkFMUc?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
The Inferno are mourning the loss of former Cubs player Ron Santo

Chicago, IL- The Inferno have always cited themselves as big fans of other Chicago based professional sports teams. Especially Inferno originals Chad Fellers and Eric Follman, who were raised near the city of Chicago.

That makes the death of former Cubs great Ron Santo extremely painful for both Follman and Fellers. The team would always make it possible so that they could take a team trip or two during the summer to Wrigley Field and watch the Cubs. Fellers commented on the news.

"I actually had a chance to meet him," said Fellers ",when he was in my hometown for the opening of "Little Wrigley Field", he came and gave a speech on baseball, his life, and met tons of people from the community. What a great man, and it's a shame he had to go before he could see his beloved Cubs win the world series. We know he'll be watching from above though when that day comes."

The Inferno are off to a slow 0-1-1 start to the season, and will look to bounce back in their next game.
