Censor boards and sponsors are all over the big 3 networks so they will never match up to what the cable networks can get away with when it comes to dramas and comedies. We still live in a world where seeing a boob is taboo on television which is fucking crazy!!! Where you can't say "shit" on any of the 3 big networks because of some pathetic idea that would turn us all into criminals and vagrants. That dumbs down television shows and insults the viewers intelligence and that is something that the 3 big networks have been really good at doing the last 10 years as the audience has become brighter and more acceptable to breaking those taboos. But on the bright side there have been signs of these networks loosening up a little more...they need to as to be able to compete in a bigger television market now.

I don't think it's the networks as much as the FCC (in the states at least).

As stated in the first post, I like Archer as well.

I have noticed a lot of my viewing has been of WGN. Morning and evening news. And even then, the evening news I just watch for Tom Skilling.I Have enjoyed 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Community, and some other sitcomy type shows. I don't care for the dramas. How many damn procedural cop dramas do we need? If it isn't a cop type show. it is a reality type show.

Comedy Central has been on my tv more often then not. Brickleberry, while amusing, is just trying too hard to be outrageous. Totally my opinion. I watch it if it's on, but it isn't DVR worthy.

What I have been doing lately is watching MST3K on my phone at night in bed. I love that show.

See Comedy central had one decent comedy and it lasted like 6 episodes. The rest I think suck since they are so outrageous.

I just watched some MST3K this past weekend. I agree RE: Cop shows. Its like once NYPD Blue came out back in the day, its been cop shows galore, now it seems like they want to do the same with fireman shows after rescue me, the CSI shit is just absurd, isnt there like ten different CSI's now?

Oregon already has Grimm.

Which is actually not too bad of a show. At least they *actually* film it in Portland and the surrounding area; unlike Criminal Minds where their Seattle-based episodes were sunny-as-hell and had palm trees in the background.
