Didn't read but.. Regardless of how he handled adversity during the season, he had the fire and came out swinging towards the end of the year. Could have won a number of games with decent clock management and/or coaching decisions. 2024 was a good test for guy that some thought came here with a silver spoon and fold under pressure. Regardless of how you feel about his abilities, he clearly passed the gamer test.

How about never once showing up on the injury report too?

To be fair to Sigs, I probably wouldn't have known anything about this esquire interview. I'd probably be happier if Caleb kept his emotions more private as opposed to feeling to share them with world but it's fine.

My two cents to him would be stop giving long winded answers to every question and channel all those tears into performing better in the deep passing game.

Everything else will take care of it's self.

I've shed tears when my hard work couldn't avoid failure, when others were counting on me. I'm glad my quarterback is a whole person capable of intense feelings, and I hope that these emotions add fuel to his fire.

Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles let down Caleb Williams with that god awful playing calling, offensive line and game day coaching.

Caleb is going to be great.

I have to post on this.

I didn't read either article because I dislike how misleading they are, but nevertheless, from what I am understanding, the guy cried over losses and that's supposedly bad because only pussies cry. Got it.

Should I remind anyone who knows who David Goggins is that he wept openly in front of hundreds of veterans when receiving an award? Why? Because it meant something to him. David Goggins is the toughest man on this planet. Go look him up if you don't believe me.
Plus, you're an absolute liar if you say you haven't cried over things before.

Williams crying over a loss is a lot better than the perception that many athletes give which is laughing and joking after the game, going home in their multi-million dollar car to their multi million dollar homes and not giving a sweet care, or worse, beating the crap out of a family member.

We the fans spend hard earned money to see athletes play the game we love. It's nice to know some of them care about the losses as much as we do.

“I have to comment on something I didn’t read,” is par for the course around here.

Not taking that "bait". If you change your articles, I'll start reading them and support you as an author. I'd like to, but I can't if the writing doesn't change. I've said this a long time before, you're a good writer, but your misleading titles undermine everything.

I think it was the nail polish!

I read this as: "I think it was the fail polish!"

I thought to myself "Wow, this fella is chiding CW on his nail polish not being done well enough."

:ROFLMAO:

I don’t like that he’s still talking about it.

I can't disagree but it appeared that he got past it and came on at the end of the year without anyone holding his hand. Other QBs in that position could easily have faded late. I hope it's a lesson that serves him well (but not often).
