Pocket presence is such a huge factor in making the step up into the NFL. I can’t remember a single Bears QB who has been strong in that area.

I’m convinced he will be a great QB. But that alone doesn’t mean he will be. But I sure hope he is. I’ll take a Kirk cousins out of him at this point. Haha

The last almost forty years of Bears football I’ve watched tells me not to be excited. We’re destined for failure. Don’t forget the McNown’s, Grossman’s, Cutler’s, Trubisky’s and so on. Some crazy feeling in me says the waiting is over. The football gods are going to reward us for being patient, for being loyal. I just feel different. Not sure if it’s his confidence or just the tape. He looks amazing. Let’s go

Maybe you just had Taco Bell and that’s what you’re feeling inside… maybe?

Only weak ass people get bothered by what other’s think, say, and what not. 🤔

Let’s get it Caleb!
That depends! Someone once recently called me a Packer's fan and I got real upset.

Hey, I hadn't seen this video posted yet. Appreciation to the OP!

Best QB to come out of college since Payton Manning.

I’m all in! Knee deep! Lock stock and barrel!
Now it’s Manning? I thought it was Luck?

I hope not. That would defeat the purpose of drafting him this high

There was some maneuvering but this is mostly Luck. I don't like these sort of compares but he does appear unflappable extremely competent and willing to welcome new concepts.

Just give me a competent franchise QB and I'll be good. Bust factor is extremely low on Caleb and ceiling quite high. He could still fall anywhere on that spectrum.

Nope. Better than Luck.
Luck was a better prospect than Manning. Manning wasn't very athletic and some teams had Leaf rated higher. Luck was even more NFL ready than Caleb due to Caleb's college circumstances of scheme and needing to play hero ball. We haven't seen much of a timing O from him last year nor know whether he'll be good at NFL open but like most evaluators, I think he'll acclimate rather quickly.

I suspect he'll throw some picks early while testing his boundaries. Just don't want to see him throwing the same kind too often or repetitively. Hopefully he gets a lot of that out of the way in camp while posters freak out over every practice int and almost int.
