Screw selling him, it has to be the other way around.
If he doesn't want to be here trade the pick.
Exactly.... we don't have time for that shit, and have other options.

It's gonna be interesting given the fact that CW would have an entire team + good portion of the city and fanbase to win over who think we already have a good thing at that position (a GREAT leader who is an ascending talent).

CW will have to perform from day one and show he's not the mental midget portrayed at times. This is a hell of an environment to be just average, there is no learning curve in this situation (meaning if he fucks up on or off the field I think folks are gonna let him have it and I can see dude wilting under the pressure).

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
The 670 interview that just happened was far better than the ESPN one.

-Colin started the interview off saying he just got word from USC staffers that 5 or so teams are asking about him and are preparing to put together offers for him. This wasn't mentioned on ESPN1000

-spoke to somebody in his camp IN BETWEEN INTERVIEWS which I found wild

- doesn't want to be seen as a villain like Elway and said that if drafted here, he'd come here but everything in that interview seemed to be pushing towards he has major reservations about the franchise and would prefer somewhere else

Colin is carrying water for the Williams camp.
Yup.

When they were trying to clear up things after the first interview and shane, the producer on the show, called up the dad, the dad referred them to a PR firm. Then Cowherd said that the Williams Camp doesn't want to be seen as being anti Chicago. That's about perception. That doesn't speak to their actual intent or desire. It's about managing the image but it sounds like they still don't want to be in Chicago if they can help it. They just don't want the negative connotation of being unwilling to play for the team that drafted them.
