Unfortunately, I played soccer for a very long time at a very high level and for a long time as a forward, I tried to be tough and was hard to tackle as I had very good balance I guess but if you don’t go down- the refs don’t call penalties.

I think diving sucks but once. Changed my mind bc I was pissed off for never getting any calls. So, later I would go down if I felt a foul. I didn’t however and told my coaches that I will never fake a penalty and one of my coaches claimed I wasn’t a team player.

That was BS but it’s a shame but most people flop if things don’t go their way. Falling down screaming and rolling around and once the foul is called, they get right back up. The screaming and yelling is for pussies if you’re faking it.

The horsecollar was pretty blatant and the ref was right behind them so he could see it but if he doesn't go down then it's not a tackle, and no penalty, so good for Caleb to know to go down, if it was actually acting and somewhat of a flop which i believe it was.
