I used to like Chrome but it seems to get worse with each new release. And where it is especially bad is on my Android phone and my Nexus (i.e. Google) tablet. Go figure.

This is how it should be done. Not neccessarily saying the primary browser and secondary are correct or in some sort of order.
But when a site runs noticeably better or more compatible in another browser, just use that browser. "Open with..." extensions exist, so you can just right click and be there. Hell, I would even say to take this another step further if you do a lot of money transactions, and use a seperate browser that is tightened down for the security needs of such tasks.

Anyone know why Chrome spawns so many damned Chrome.exe proceses?
I only use Chrome for Chrome Cast when I am streaming stuff and I had 1 tab open to one site on Chrome and it had like 10 Chrome.exe processes running, does it spawn 1 for each thread for each tab?

Personally, I almost never have problems with chrome. I have more issues with Firefox updating and breaking shit than anything with chrome.
A major thing I don't like about chrome is that it auto updates and you have no control over it. Its not even that obvious when/if it has updated. It also usually has the google updater service running in the background all the time.

I think it at least has one process for the browser than another for each tab and maybe even more for things running on pages like videos and shit.

Would make sense to me, I guess I wish they would use indicative naming on their processes then rather than having 12 chrome.exes running and thinking I have a bunch of rogue malware processes going on in the background.

I will say 1 good thing about GC..Ya know that fucked up fake FBI virus that goes around and locks your PC up?...It doesnt effect GC. I just reboot and its gone. If youre running IE, it will get ya

Thats called malware, not a virus and if its doing something like locking your machine up its software that runs in the background and presents itself in the foreground as a webpage. Google Chrome vs IE would not matter.... you may want to do a malware scan with Microsoft Security Essentials or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Just because you don't see it anymore doesn't mean the malicious shit isn't running in your background.
