Yes. They can. Although I think that they're a lot better without Wade for some odd reason.

Don't take your red Bulls off for the self annointed king,, have the Bulls hat sowed into your scalp so it never comes off.
Lebron will not win the championship this year and you can take that to the bank.
And he's not the best player of all time yet until he gets 6 rings.
He has a long way to go.

He'll never equal MJ. Never. But he is just too damn good to fail his entire career. A player of his calibre has to win rings or will forever be remembered as a "no rings" guy. He'd never live it down. Which is why he panicked and went to Miami - sure people will put it down to playing in a "superteam" or whatever, but there is a far greater chance of the history books showing the most important stat next to his name.... rings.

I fear if he wins it all this year, he becomes the dominant force for the next few years in the NBA. Especially without Bosh.

How many years does he have left in the NBA? Roughly ....

That third option in the poll doesn't make sense.

"Can the Heat win the title without Bosh?"

"Well, if he comes back before the Finals and they have him throughout the Finals, then yes. They can win it all without him... even though they have him there because he came back."

But Bosh wont be 100% healthy maybe not even 90%.

That's not what you said.

Someone predicting the Heat to win the title isn't the same as everyone and their mother basically assuming the Heat will win with no trouble and asking "why even play the season"..which is what your idiotic "foregone conclusion" comment implies.

Keep listening to ESPN brah. Keep getting mad that Lebron styles all over Rose.

Rose tore his ACL to save himself the embarrassment of getting shut down by Lebron...again.

I hope you burn in fucking hell.

This year a new king may rise. So stop talking about Lebron. He had all the attention of the entire world for so many years and he failed to prove that he deserves it so hard. New era guys. Let's move on.

Lebron is the best player in the NBA. Durant is fantastic, but doesn't have anywhere near the defensive ability of Lebron nor his versatility.

Just because YOU don't like Lebron doesn't make it some kind of new era...WTF is that?

Kevin Durant isn't as good a player as Lebron James is...but let's move on to a guy who is still growing and improving over a guy who is right now the best basketball player in the world....OK!

And he's only 23 too. He can improve a lot. He is the scoring champion for 3 consecutive times. This and a championship is a very good start point for a new king. Especially if he wins it all without having a Wade and a Bosh in his team.

You missed something. The best basketball players in the world win CHAMPIONSHIPS. And if Durant win it this year then HE WILL BE THE BEST basketball player in the world. For now LeBron is still the King.

This would be the ONLY reason why he is considered the King...if any

"LeBron is just spectacular," Bird was saying Monday afternoon from his courtside seat at Pacers practice. "He's had a great year."

"With his body, his skill, his ability to get out and run and jump," Bird said, "I don't think we've quite seen anybody play his position who can do what he can do. We've seen scorers, we've seen rebounders, we've seen defenders, but to have the total package …"

The Hall of Fame forward paused and shook his head.

"I always say it's fun to watch him," Bird said. "I just sit back and watch him play."

Sunday's Game 1 loss was different. After his Pacers held LeBron to six points in building a six-point halftime lead, they let him shake loose for 26 points after the break.

"He played awesome," Bird said. "He's a special player. Just proves that not only on the offensive end, but the defensive end."

Danny Granger's 1-for-10 shooting day had plenty to do with LeBron.

"He took Granger completely out of everything he wanted to do," Bird said. "This is the best time to go into the playoffs knowing you're the best player in the league."

Miami Heat's LeBron James has earned the respect of Larry Bird across the way - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Until Durant does what Lebron can do...don't think he will be the best in the league.

If Durant wins a championship he will become the best in the league in ONE DAY. And you will see it. Press, sponsors, EVERYONE will have Durant as the best. This is how it works.

Bird forgot to mention the most important quality of a player... "blah blah blah,we've seen WINNERS" So until LeBron wins championships he won't have the whole package.

Also. A 75% free throw shooter cannot be considered the best player in the league. Noah is a 75% free throw shooter.

It's not a skill contest. It's basketball. Some qualities like leadership, heart and clutchness are more important than vertical.

Bird did mention that Lebron was the best player in the league...by far.

You question his ability to lead...did you watch him with the Cavs at all???

And just like the Dirk situation...everybody question his heart and his "clutchness" until he beat the Heat...when the fact is they were WRONG ALL ALONG! Dirk was always a clutch player. Lebron has shown this year and in the past his ability to take over games in clutch situations. He has also shut down mentally at times. That said, you overlook one side of it and accentuate the other...

No he won't.

A 75% free throw shooter cannot be considered the best player in the league.
This is one of the dumbest things you have ever said.

Shaq was considered by many to be the best player in the NBA for times during his career. He shot 57% for his career.

Wilt shot worse than Shaq.

Hakeem, shot worse than 75% as well.

It's not a skill contest. .

LOL at this after remarking about someone's FT shooting acumen.

They have a slim chance. Lebron needs to carry the team even MORE than he already is. When his disappearing acts begin they will really be in a world of trouble.

Lets not forget there are two superstars in OKC as well.

I couldn't give a shit who the sponsors and advertisments go to. It isn't about who is more commercial.

Lebron is the best all round player in the NBA;

His shooting
Driving ability
Physical attributes like unreal strength and speed for a guy his size. He's stronger than players bigger than him and quicker than players smaller than him. Basketball is a game of match ups. He wins the majority.

He is possibly the best defender in the league.

Pts, rebounds, steals, blocks, assists ... the guy can do it all.

Durant is on his way up, no doubt about it. But he is far from Lebron imo.

Wade is dealing with lingering injuries that forced him to miss several games late in the regular season, and the Miami Heat guard required treatment in recent days for knee and leg soreness, sources told ESPN.com on Thursday.

The Heat just announced that they've canceled today's practice at the last minute. Hmm.

They are falling apart:lmao::lmao::lmao:
Althouth the Wade injury is just excuses.
