Well i didn't expect them to make a game out of it, hence why I stopped watching. As already said, got a point we didn't deserve.

Defense didnt deserve the point. I don't think the team overall on offense played poorly. Probably deserved that point to be honest.

Crawford could have had a better game also and I rarely rail on Craw but that wasn't his best outing. Although it's hard to be perfect when you have to keep dealing with Rundblads bad shit.

Im not one who goes goo goo ga ga at the deadline for adding much and I always think the Hawks change their levels come the playoffs as they have proven many times. But I gotta admit I am a slightly more concerned with the defensive depth now. Maybe a small move wouldnt be a bad idea if it can be found.

He should be in the Cubs forums.... he's a diehard Sox fan afterall.

Just don't say anything bad about him... or the Sox mod will come championing his way in here to ban people.

Anyone that trashes Hossa deserves to get trashed himself (check the Blues GDT). If you decide to post something that stupid, you deserve to be ridiculed.

And remember we can't say his name.

Anyway, Hawks get a point they didn't deserve. With that much talent, they should've shut Vancouver down. Oh well, 1 is better than 0.

I wish we could hire Dave Manson or Gary Suter to come in and be like to Runblad "Okay you pussy, you gotta get the stick parallel to his neck the next time he comes to the net. What? That's a penalty? Fuckin since when?"

I have had my ups and downs with Hossa this season. At times he has looked old and steps behind on the offensive side. Never knocked the guys defensive game though he is still one of the leagues best defensive forwards. It's a funny line when you have 2 great two way players and another guy still in grooming to be a solid 2 way player. You end up with a line that doesn't look the offensive threat as other teams first lines which is all about fire power and offense.

Think some fans don't get that about the Hawks as it is a pretty unusuall 1st line which you don't see a lot of around the NHL. A lot of fans want all offensive finess on their top line and less of the work and grind both ends to create chances. Hossas problems for much of the season on the offenside side has been the chances being created but the finish not being there all the time. He has found his finish lately again which is a great sign. I actually liked how that line played tonight they burried the bulk of the chances they created for themselves.

There's a difference between assessing play and dumb comments.
Saying something like "81 had a bad game because ____" is different than "81 fucking sucks."
If you act like you can have an adult debate, show it. It's that simple.

Hossa continues to prove that unsustainably low shooting percentages are unsustainable. Him being on a hot streak is an understatement. But, anyone that has actually WATCHED him play this season knew he would eventually start putting the puck in the net.

The defense outside of 2/4/7 is a fucking trainwreck. TVR can't come back soon enough. Rozsival needs to retire. Like, now.

Ill agree even though I am one of the few who still has hopes in Oduya and thinks he will find the better end of his game again. Im not going to throw Oduya under the bus as fast as others do. I know his potential as I think we all do. I have faith that it will show up again. Again post season hawks are a different team than feb Hawks. Have seen this feb dive before haven't we?

Rundblad has never had a good side to his game and Rozy is nearing pro level completion if not there already. I agree that an upgrade there probably needs to be done and is more of an urgency that worrying too much about a guy like Oduya who is talented and more reliable but just not showing a great deal of that as of late.
