Issues: Steering wheel shakes with each rotation of the tires, and if I let go of the steering wheel, it pulls to the right. While I drive, the car also makes a bit of a squealing noise, and today I just noticed a helicopter noise coming from the right side of my car. Almost sounds like it's coming from the back tire, but I can't be too sure.

Any ideas of what it could be? I'm going to bring it to the mechanic later this week, but wanna know if it's potentially something serious so I can bring it in today if I have to.

Sounds more serious than I originally thought.

Get it in as soon as you can. Until then drive it easy or not at all.

Sounds like a u-joint or even as simple as throwing a tire balance weight.
Go sooner than later to avoid further damage.

I'm not really a car guy per se but my dad owns a car dealership and I used to work there part time during high school. From the sounds of it, you have a bad tie rod which will put unnecessary wear and tear on your tires which is probably what the sound is and your alignment is out. Hard to say how bad it can be but it's going to cost you around $100 per tie rod and then labor as well. Take this with a grain of salt lol

That's what I've been trying to do haha. I thought my repair costs would be cheaper than paying a car note every month (with potential repair costs as well), but so far this year, it doesn't look good.

And it's not a problem. You're only 600 miles away. I can be there in like 20 minutes.

My mechanic told me the same thing 2 months ago. My car hasn't even hit 100,000 miles and he said under the hood, you'd think it had 200 on it.

My pops is still driving his 2001 Ford Explorer.... lmao the POS is broken every month now.... last time he came out by me I had to get landscape edging stones propped behind his back tires because the parking break doesn't work anymore.

I mean there comes a point where you gotta just get something newer with less wear and tear on it.

You have a 2003 BNB.... you don't have to buy a 15,000-30,0000$ new vehicle, you can still go like 2007-2010, maybe 6,000-8,000.

You are already forking out a couple hundred a month in repairs at this rate.... a 6,000-8,000 loan payment at 60 months would be less.

For giggles check the Chrysler/jeep/dodge website for recalls.
Might be their bill if a common issue.
Worth a look.

Lol that is a good point... my alternator blew a few months back and I found a recall for it, fix was free.
