That's not always true. There are plenty of corporations that have very strict rules on practices and customer engagement. More so than most small companies

I love the tips, but honestly never had a single problem renting cars. I've rented from the dirt cheapest "mom and pop" place to Enterprise luxury cars and have never had any of this stuff pulled on me. Not that I have rented a lot of cars (maybe 15 or so) but they always mark previous damage, go over the car with me on return, and never try to stick me with extras like gas or insurance. I even initial the places when I waive it. :shrug:
