Even though Glass and Torres don't play for the Canucks anymore, I'm sure he will be gunning for them when we play the team that each of them are on now.

If he snaps Bieksa in two then all is forgotten what I said about him.

Do it Dan.

I like it a lot.

More than skill and possibly even more than chemistry, last years team was missing attitude. Not just toughness and the desire to hit guys, but the constant trash talk of the 4th line guys. Even the chirping from guys like Bolland, Versteeg, Byfuglien and even Kane... the team missed that.

Of course you can talk all you want, but if stars don't produce- it really doesn't mean shit. Hopefully Bowman has brought the team closer to the mix of guys that made the 2010 lineup so great.

I definitely have faith that the big names will rebound this year and it's nice to see Carcillo knows what he has to do.

I was recently re-watching the Winter Classic the other day and I sort of miss that fourth line. Eager and Frasier. Especially Eager. He took dumb penalties sometimes, but he was a hitter, talker, and he could score.

That goal Eager scored in the Winter Classic is such a tease.

Physically he was capable of playing like that on a regular basis. Guy is a beast, but for whatever reason- he almost never showed it. Really irritating.

That will NEVER happen. Bieksa only deals with heavy weights like Marlowe and Stalberg. Anytime you see Carcillo, Scott or Mayers coming on....you'll see Bieksa heading for a change. He's one of the biggest ****** in the league.

Oh yeah I know. He wasn't that great, but I wouldn't mind having him back. Back then our fourth line was something to be afraid of. Last year it wasn't. I hope it's back to something to be afraid of this year.

Just like when he ran away from John Scott.

That always torqued me about Eager. In the minors the guy led his teams in scoring and he lit it up. When he got to the NHL he completely changed his game. He was a scorer his entire life and then suddenly he became a Hanson brother.

I loved the guy, other than the stupid ass offensive zone penalties, but I always wondered what could have been for that cat...

He even scores in the penalty box in Vancouver... :smug:

That's one way to endear yourself to the fans of your new team.

No offense Chicago Fan, Sir ... ok, Eager is one of my hangups - he is one of those guys that I liked -as I could count the number of points he got generally without taking off my socks - so I never really get where people come from when I see them talking about Mr Eager's offense.

No offense taken. I understand people who don't like him. He took some of the dumbest penalties and didn't really live up to his offensive potential.

I like that Carcillo is a Blackhawk and at the introduction press conference he heats up the rivalry with the Canucks already. I really wish we could see Mayers, Carcillo, Scott, Montador, and O'Donnell in the starting line-up vs. the Canucks
