Waldron is an imbecile.
I'm starting to think that they might take play calling away from him. Seems far-fetched, but they are running out of alternatives and desperate times call for desperate measures.

I mean, as it stands now this staff is G-O-N-E after the way these past two games went. But if they have any desire to try to right the ship and at least be competitive, they have to put people in the decision making positions that are actually equipped to add value.

Neither can anyone here as otherwise they would have a job doing so instead of crying from their couch.
Nice deflection to ‘crying’ when you have been wrong since attempting to state the roster is better when the team finished dead last in the nfl, to caping for a chase claypool trade, to mind reading that poles didn’t need to and wouldn’t draft OT, to now caping for eberflus.

You’re wrong, wrong again, and then dead wrong time and time again. Your cycle of being wrong is just as predictable as the bears failures.

Yes and you are wrong again and again. I just don't care enough to remember all the things you were wrong about.

Ok I was wrong. So what? Is your life more fulfilled now?

  • This will be Flus’ last year as our HC. Waldron probably never gets a HC opportunity again either.
  • The offense is pathetic… everyone. I actually think most of them have given up. I definitely think Moore and Keenan aren’t in it anymore. Caleb looks terrible. OL is still terrible. Only people I’d give a pass are Swift and Kmet. The rest are definitely playing below expectations.
  • I wish we’d fire a HC in season. I’d like Thomas Brown to take over and just have an offensive guy running it. I want the mentality of being hyper focused on conservatism and ball protection to be gone. I’m worried the guys are getting their instincts coached out of them.
  • Poles should be taking a good chunk of heat for what we’re seeing. He’s made glaring mistakes with coaching and the OL.

It doesnt matter if or when they fire Eberflus because in all probability they will hire someone just as inept. And even if they hired a competent coach, how could he function with that albatross we call an offensive line?

Such a stupid game plan. Waldron should be canned tonight. You’re down to a LT fresh off IR and technically you’re 3rd string, and you throw the ball TWENTY FOUR times in the first half. What . Thee. ****.

You go away from the short passing game there was actually working. No kmet. Very little Johnson.

**** Waldron.

I turned it off so I missed the CW injury but anyone with a brain could see that couldn’t protect for shit.

Oh I still think he gets rest of year but saving his job just got harder as now he will need to go like 6-3 rest of way with Pats the only relatively easy game.
If the Bears go 6-3 the rest of the way and finish at 10 -7, and retain this coach, I just don’t even know what to say.

Worst case scenario

Just can't see that with 6 division games plus the 49ers. If that happens, they actually figured some shit out. 5-4 would be a miracle and 4-5 would be a losing record.

No way they win 10 now but it's the Bear. Watch them win 9 with some funny bounces and they keep this staff.

We're going through what was supposed to be one of the easiest schedules to start the season at 4-4 and that portion will end after next week. We fucked.

Towards the end on that 4th down play where all the WR’s have their back to CW for 10 yards and the OL let 3 guys in untouched for a sack is such a Waldron play call.

I'm sure this will be ugly and rightfully so. What are your top takeaways from the Cardinals beating the Bears? Here's mine.

Good god man, why is Caleb Williams on the field down by 20 points with 3 minutes to go in the game? The only thing that could happen in that situation is Caleb gets injured, which, of course, is exactly what happened. He is the face of the franchise. He is the future. WHAT IS FLUS DOING?!?!?

Note that Kyler sat out the final possession for the Cardinals because that's an intelligent coaching decision.

Caleb was injured on the second to last play of the game. At that point, either get him out of the game or call a run play for the last play of the game. Instead the Bears call a pass and Caleb further tweaks the injury.

This is coaching incompetence of the highest order.

Three decent drives in the first half, none of which was finished and forced to settle for three field goals.

And that was the highlight.

Arizona was the more physical team and dominated the run....The long run for a TD with 4 seconds left in the first half was a gut punch that the Bears never recovered from.

This team has the look of mediocre.

I hate mediocre.

Well, I could be wrong (it's happened before), but I think what is going to happen is that the Bears will win 4 or 5 more games this season and just miss out on the playoffs...The very definition of mediocre.

The problem with mediocre is that sometimes teams have an extended stay there...Not good enough to win a playoff game, not bad enough to get blue-chippers in the draft.

I hate mediocre.

Top takeaway.

Bears are now the Lions of the NFC.

Actually, the Bears remind me more of the Browns..New coach and new QB every 3 years. But your point is well taken.

The Lions IMHO are now the best team in the NFL

Congrats..Campbell has really turned the Lions around
