Shark hit the ball hard the first time up, but he missed some pitches. I really thought Wainwright would challenge Samardzija with a fastball with how late he was on the breaking pitches, but he got him to pop it up anyway.

Using gameday...shark looks like he is doing well tonight...how does he look on TV for those who are watching

He has looked real good. He has been throwing the fastball in the mid 90s all night (95-96 basically all the time). The splitter has been real good. He has gotten ahead of hitters consistently, and really only the Molina double was hit hard. He has looked about as dominant as he did in his first start. Been getting a ton of groundballs and striking out a batter per inning.
