I got a degree and realized it was not worth anything... So I started a company that could give relief to the other people that went to college and couldn't find jobs...

When I said grad school, I mean any type of professional school. I thought it happened a ton. I'll give you an example although this particular example is certainly rare. One of my buddies was a trader for 4 years out of undergrad then had a change of heart and went to medical school. Now, he just entered Northwestern residency program for plastics.

Okay, ignore my last question. Figure out what you want to do and see how many finance credits are transferable to the new choice. At the very least you have every elective course covered.
I would think some finance credits would count towards pre law, history, or others.

Edited to add: Or be a farmer.

I'm graduating in a week and a half and this thread depresses me. Here's to hoping I like this career path for at least the next 30 years! :woot:

Probably very few. Money will need to be spent on courses to get into a program that interests me. That's obvious. It's just a matter of me deciding what I want. Law interested me at one point but there are so many fucking unemployed lawyers or a ton making chump change. I don't feel like taking $100k+ in debt to come out of school making 50 large.

Couple things. No salary. And I've been making about $2,500 a month doing that. It's just not enough money.

I feel you. I don't wanna curse the ground I walk on but am curious to figure out what "enough" money can really mean. It's gotta be the hardest job ever to never pay taxes but yet make enough money to live on your own terms. Unless you are rich...

Yup. Also it's stressful as **** to risk all my savings day in and day out. Especially when you're having a bad day and everything is going against you, your balls tighten up to a point I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. It's better as a side gig when I'm not depending upon the money to pay rent.

With statistics and finance, a consulting firm would be an option. Not full time finance, but rounding out the education would be easy and you could even mess around with new classes industry specific.

Any of you guys get sick of your initial career post college and decided to go to grad school to move into a completely different industry?

Just make sure that what you choose to do is approved by internet stalkers.

Might as well be successful at something.

I do the same thing my dad did and his dad before him and his dad before him and so on and so forth for 5 generations
no college was required just years of backbreaking labor and an affinity for drinking large amounts of beer to numb the pain

Hookin'?
