it's official...7/$142.

Talk about a team revamping an offense overnight.

CC is good, but the contract will come back and bite them in the ass. Just like Werth, soon to be Lee, etc.

I would say that the Red Sox just check mated the White Sox for AL favorite in 2011. Anything can happen though. Glad cheap seats don't mean shelling out what I am going to guess will soon to be $100.00 a ticket at Fenway.

This almost guarantees that the Yankees will now submit to any demands that Cliff Lee has and get him signed not matter the cost or years. I still think Boston severely overpaid Crawford, he does not have enough power to match the production with that contract and is a knee injury away from being a three tool player. Still Boston is stacked.

Boston's rotation is suspect more than our apperently is.

Beckett, Dice-K and Wakefield have to rebound big.

Personally, I don't think the White Sox are anywhere close to AL Favorite. They are better than last year, but last year they weren't even a playoff team. The WS have to get that bullpen figured out.

get one decent bullpen addition and this team is def the AL Central favorite imo. Stacked line up, stacked rotation, Just add Heath Bell!

Heath Bell? Is that plausible for the Sox right now? Haha...yeah, that would definitely help...but it feels kinda like me saying, "If the Cubs could just go out and get Pujols, most our offensive issues would be solved."

There was an article awhile back about him being available, forgot where I saw it. Kenny did also say that a bullpen move would come via trade.....

If they can add someone to the caliber of Heath Bell (who is over-rated, but still very, very good) I may change my tune on the White Sox.

They won 89 games, should of been more, but I'll just call it the Bobby Jenks effect.

PS: No more Perry the Platypus avatar?!?!

I <3 Perry the Platypus...but, 'twas time for a change. Relapse did a sweet job on this one for me...

Eventually, Kansas City has to become relevant, right? eventually? maybe?
