I would also add that some posters believe that 4 or 5 QBs will be gone in the top ten...that's not happening either. Some of them will slip. Watch for Pace to have an outside shot at Trey Lance with a trade up....maybe Mac Jones.

I know you like Fields but Lombardi didn't sound full of himself at all.
He just stated that he and Charlie don't listen to any of the media BS and converse with the NFL GM's and execs that they have for decades.
None of us knows what the NFL really thinks as we are limited to the media BS that they ignore.
I don't know if they are right or wrong but I would put much more credence on what they say then any non ex NFL exec media member.

Casserly had both Daniel Jones and Justin Herbert slipping into the late teens in his last few drafts.

This is nothing new. I'm sure he has as much insider knowledge as any of the journalists out there due to his time as a GM, but all it takes is for one team to like a guy for him to go off the board.

I will be shocked if fields slips out of the top 10. If he drops to our pick and the bears don't take him I will officially be on the fuck pace bandwagon.

Pure message board speculation on my part..... but it could be that most teams know that Lawrence, Wilson and Jones are going 1,2,3 and numerous teams are trying to get Fields to drop since he's the first "available" QB.
