Casting Call at the UC 05/22/2010

jako and i went to this... saw whaler on his way out. from what i understood, everyone who showed up in hawks gear got a guaranteed 1-3 day shoot. we'll find out two weeks prior what our schedule is. looks like the UC shooting is at the end of july.

Ummm Yea. So he's not working now? Umm He's been in my section or the one over about 10 times this year? I have been there for 10 years prior and he's never been there. Now they are good and he's there? Oh Mary...



Wait, maybe this year work is slow for him. Ummm yea.



Vince Vaughn = Bandwagon and there's nothing wrong with that as long as he WAITS FOR THE WHISTLE. Which he and fellow bandwagoner Kevin James did last night.

As Mary said, anyone with Hawks gear is an extra. I swear StuGrimson was behind us in line. It's gonna be fun in July. So far as I know, MaryO, Whaler, myself, and Agenthehe will be there.



As for Vaughn, I have seen him at many games, usually in a box or something along those lines. Bandwagon or not, he is a movie star, and well known, so thy are gonna show him every time he's there.

i'm just trying to get you to slow down a little ron. you're so quick to slap that 'bandwagon' label on everyone... and mostly rather harsh to those you apply the label to. i don't give a shit who is or isn't watching the team now, i'm just glad they're FUN to watch again. been a long time since we had that..... so how can we blame others for finally being able to watch at all, and for enjoying it? i can't. like you said, as long as they wait for the whistle.

As long as he waits for the whistle who cares. I've never seen him before twice last year and this. Ever. Not before the game, during and or after. It's the thing to do now. :dance:



I didn't ask him last night, I just thanked him for waiting for the whistle Mary. I'll ask him for you next time.

This is a crazy thought, I know, but maybe he's at all the games now because they are filming "Cheaters" in Chicago? I mean, if the movie was set in LA, he'd probably be out there right now.



From what I understand, Vaughn owns a condo in Chicago, so he has roots here.

Mrs. Whalerhawk and I arrived at 11 and were out of there by 11:40. However, it need be noted that we saw the two people who have season tickets next to us at the front of the line when we got there and they let us cut the line (I know...shame on us for accepting). They got there at 10, so I think it would have taken the average person about 90 minutes to get all the way through.

Bucky was there as well with his wife...



Now onto the V V thing. I have actually seen him there a few times before last year. Not a lot but a few times. We were actually talking about it last night because the first time I saw him at a game in Chicago was back in '03 I think when there were probably 6 or 7k at the game. So I'm not getting on his case.



And yes he has a condo in Chicago (a very nice one I've been inside as a close family friend was the the GC for it and I know it was not cheap).

We hoped in line right around 11, give or take 5 minutes, and right before we went in, the church, the bells rang 12. It wasn't horrible. I think what helped was the amazingly entertaining and rather attractive company I was with.
