Casting game: Ghostbusters 3

Who would you cast for Ghostbusters 3? With the film's buzz for the last 3 days, there have been flying rumors since the beginning, that none of the originals will suit up for the scripts that have been written. Some rumors even have oddball cameos and part of the team possibly making a return.

The original cast includes.

• Bill Murray as Peter Venkman
• Dan Aykroyd as Raymond Stantz
• Harold Ramis as Egon Spengler
• Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddmore

And no "no remake" posts. This is a casting game. Nothing said here actually matters, it's just for shits and giggles.

It wouldn't be nearly as good as the original cast, but I can see this happening. I could also see them doing the new brat pack with Seth Rogen et al.

Also, Bill Murray was like a funny kind of a dick, but Vince Vaughn is the kind of dick that I want to punch in the face so I'm not sure I'd want him as Venkman :lol: He was great in "Old School" though.

Sounds perfect to me. LOL. Peter wasn't supposed to be a funny guy, he was supposed to be that opportunist asshole that nobody liked, but he grew on you and became funny.

Paul Rudd as Peter Venkman. I just really like Paul Rudd and i think he could kind of pull of that sort of bland funnyness that Bill Murray had.

Vince Vaughn as Raymond Stantz. I kind of like Vaugn better for this part because i think they both kind of have that obnoxious voice thing going on and Vaughn kind of has that edge to his acting like Dan had. Its hard to explain.

Wentworth Miller as Egon Spengler. Miller played Michael from Prison Break, the guy with his whole body inked up. Just have him grow his hair out.

Will Smith as Winston Zeddmore. Black part=Will Smith

Eddie Murphy as everyone. Dub it The Nutty Ghostbusters Nah, I have no clue, but didnt know about them doing a new movie. Its a shame it wasnt made when the originals were still the best option. Wouldve been great to have seen em all back together. Weaver and Moranis included. Although, it wouldnt be hard to have them return to pass the torch in a sense. I just hope they can capture that same atmosphere again.

This idea isnt really far from what the idea of GB3 is....

Obviously these guys are all too old to be Gbsters and they won't be the ghostbusters in 3rd film, but will still be in the film as mentors(if it happens). So they will recruit new recruits to replace these guys.

So instead of replacing the characters that we all know...maybe we play a game of who we would like to see as the new ghostbusters

All I know is they better pick the right 4 people(a woman will be a ghostbuster in this film. Aykroyd says there will be a female gbuster)

I dont really care who they pick as long as seth rogan stays away from this movie...dude fuckin sucks...

Hate to say it, but got a feeling while GB3 might be a decent movie, Hollywoods gonna **** it up by 'updating' everything. Hopefully Im wrong, but I dont wanna see alternative GB suits, or the classic hearse turned GBmobile to something Special person as an Explorer or some shit to make it 'flashy'. And I swear to God if they change the siren...
