Hate to say it, but got a feeling while GB3 might be a decent movie, Hollywoods gonna **** it up by 'updating' everything. Hopefully Im wrong, but I dont wanna see alternative GB suits, or the classic hearse turned GBmobile to something Special person as an Explorer or some shit to make it 'flashy'. And I swear to God if they change the siren...

When they released the newer Star Trek movie they had the original "blip blip" sounds on the bridge and the ship essentially looked the same, as well as the uniforms and various Trek "in" jokes. So I think they'd do the same with the Ghostbusters if they were any kind of smart. The proton pack streams might look a bit better and the ghosts won't look as fake, but that's about all the upgrading I think they'd do.

Dan Aykroyd and Harold ramis are helping with the script. i highly doubt that much will change. maybe some new things added, but mostly will stay the same.

I dont see a new car or siren, proton packs should stay the same(unless something changes). The biggest change will be 4 new ghostbusters. That isn't a small change, the 4 actors they chose will MAKE or BREAK this movie.

Im sure the 2 firehouses they used to film the first 2 movies will be cleaned up and reused for the 3rd.

The one thing I do look forward to are the special effects. those should be just awesome. The effects in the first two movies still look good today, but man, the technology today is light years better then the 1980's.

Completely agree with you both. And knowing Dan and Harold are helping definitely brings me hope. Updated special effects should look great. The remake of Star Trek was indeed rather good, though they did have more pressure to deliver with that fanbase. Now its the waiting thats going to be a ***** lol
