What? Are you kidding me here is a brief lesson in the SI jinx.
Kerry Wood 2003 what happened they blew a 3-1 series lead.
Undefeated with this cover of dez bryant what happened next week they lost.
It says it on the cover 9-0, next week star qb injured and lose to Northwestern.
Appears on the cover, loses his first major league game, and injures himself for the rest of the season and most of this one the following week.
And lastly tom brady was on the nfl preview cover for 2008, minutes into the season his knee is torn and the birth of matt cassel happens.
These are some of the examples. I know its not every person ever on the cover. It just seems like if its one of my teams its never a good thing.

I can't disagree with you. Especially if the player on the cover is a Cub. It's almost like a double-curse.
