Can't really look at the box score to decide if a player had a good game or not. I didn't see the game so I can't judge.

In Miami, Lebron had to guard all 5 positions, he was by far the superior defender on that team. By the way, this Bulls team's defense isn't half as good as the one that Lebron beat in 2011 either. And I don't know if you've noticed, but while the Bulls were experiencing some slippage for a while, the Cavs went on a very nice winning streak. And Lebron has played better also. If they get it together, and it appears they are getting it together...Bulls will have a hard time beating them.

I don't recall Lebron being an easy out for any team in the East.

I think the difference between the Cavs' and Bulls' defense (right now) is that we know what the Bulls can be defensively. We've seen it at times this season.

The Bulls' offense is still what I'm most worried about in a series with Cleveland. Cleveland has about 4 players that can create offense at any time (Big 3 and J.R. Smith - although shaky as a player overall). Chicago still might be a lot more of Derrick Rose and the other 4 guys than anybody realizes. Pau is vastly important and he's going to need to be aggressive. Butler is unbelievably improved but he's not going to simply get to the basket at will nor will he be that consistent shooter to play off of Rose, either.

If I had to guess (right now), I'd say the Bulls have a better chance of winning that series and a better chance of going farther in the playoffs, in general.

That he was playing selfishly? :dunno: He was 12-26 from 2, and 2-9 from 3, with 8 t/o's.

Didn't see the game so I couldn't tell if he was selfish or not. All I'm saying is that it's a testament to how good he is as a player to put up 31 points and still have a bad game. If Tony Snell put up 31 and had 8 turnovers most guys would say he had a good game. How would I know? Just look at Linsanity...often lost in that discussion is how he was averaging like 6 TOs per game along with his 22 points and 10 assists or whatever it was.

Well, I was really just making a joke (ie DRose threads) about the stats. But yeah, LJ looked pretty bad if you ask me. He was often out of control driving the lane and falling into people. But his dribbling was really bad. It looked liked he couldn't dribble at times. He made some real lazy passes as well.

He was still LJ, hence his 31 pts, but he played how I picture him when he starts to lose his skills eventually. Having said all that, the entire Cavs team didn't look all that good, and they did play the Heat the night before, so I don't expect it to be that easy down the way by any means.

The best thing to take out of the game was DRose's play. He looked really good and was just blowing by players on the Cavs to the hoop. Rose made a bunch of nice passes, imo, of the drive, especially to an open Pau. Pau, btw, didn't have his best game, imo, and missed a bunch of shots.

Snell looked fantastic, again, imo, and is finally emeging into a nice player. Even Rose said it was Tony's game after the game, which I thought was cool to hear.

I've seen a vast improvement in Snell's shooting mechanics lately. He's using his lower body like he should, and shooting in rhythm with no hesitation. Jumpers that were coming up short off the front of the rim early in the season should be all net from this point as long as his mechanics are consistent.
