CCS I'm Going To Be At The Game Thread

My wife and I were thinking about taking our sons to a game in April for my oldest's birthday. I was thinking about the Reds game on Sunday the 22nd. Probably take them to the museum or something the day before and then hit the game on Sunday before we leave town.

I just have to study up on seating (from what I understand 400 level seats are pretty good) and then decide whether to try to buy them when tickets go on sale or try stub hub or something a little later on. I've only been to one game where we "sat" (actually, stood) in the bleachers. But, if I'm taking my kids there's no way I'd do that again.

Just wait a bit.. you should get them for pretty cheap on stubhub

Or just hang around one of the bars and get them for free lol. Happens to me far too often. Perks of living a few blocks from Wrigley I guess. But stubhub is always a great place to get cheap tickets, craigslist as well!

ill prolly go to like 5-7, so far 4/9 vs Brewers, 8/10 not sure who they are playing, my brother got them for my Bday, in fact that may be the worng date lol, and late september against CIN hoping to see the specs up by then

Bit of a thread resurrection, but I did pull the trigger on some tickets for the game I mentioned previously (April 22nd vs the Reds). I ended up using stub hub and got 4 tickets in section 427 row 7 for $25 each. Face value is $45 each, I think, so I'm happy with the deal. They look like good seats so let's just hope its a good game.

I'd forgotten about this thread. Merged it with the "at the game" thread so it'll be a combo tickets/meet-up thread for people who are interested.

I'll be at Monday night's game against the Cardinals. Not sure which section yet.

Section 216, probably next to a damned support beam again. But yay for $1 tickets!

Monday vs. Cardinals...probably means lots of red in the park, and I won't be able to move around as much to find better seats.
