I can't believe Dero copped out. Weekend (more like Sunday AM-Monday Afternoon) was pretty damn awesome. There were 6-7 other sites there participating in the program with Verizon. They hooked us up with travel expenses, tickets to the Bears/Packers game, hotel, etc. Simply put, they fucking rock.
Anyway after Zack picked me up at O'Hare, we showed up a little bit late and barely caught a cab to lunch before the game. Ate at The Gage, nice high-end sports bar. Got a little drunk there and threw back some good ass food. Took a shuttle, where more drinking commenced, to Soldier Field.
Watched Craig Steltz hand away the fucking game to the Pack. Once we got back to the hotel afterwards, we met up with EnjoyYourTiger and ate at Portillo's and then went to some dive bar to watch the end of the Steelers/Colts game. Highlight of the evening had to be some meth-head crip-walking outside of the window at that bar.
Then Sunday we got breakfast at some expensive ass breakfast place and went to a seminar by Verizon for the program they flew us out there for. Walked around the city for awhile... and guess what?
Dero didn't get to experience any of it. That stupid ****.
