Zach Parise - Pavel Datsyuk - Rick Nash
Parise and Datsyuk are both superb defenders and both are capable of putting up over a point per game. Rick Nash brings the size and net presence to this line, he has been a productive player his entire career playing along side no one, Nash along side Parise and Datsyuk will allow him to dominate even more.
Eberle - Toews - Gaborik
Toews and Gaborik are top line talent on most teams, feel lucky to have them both on a 2nd line. Toews is the rock of this line who can play the entire ice, Eberle and Gaborik bring speed, play making ability, and both are pure snipers with the puck. Gaborik and Toews both have the size to go to the net to get the dirty goals. Eberle will benefit from playing the wing rather than center with less responsibly and will allow him to get up the ice faster which fits his skill set.
Setoguchi - Zajac - Hanzal
Zajac and Hanzal are both defensive rocks, the both have offensive ability but Zajac is capable of putting nearly a point per game up. Hanzal has great size to handle power forwards and both him and Zajac are great at the dot. Setoguchi is the speed guy of the line who can press the issue.
Doughty - Johnson
Both are familiar playing together. They are both great defensively as well as offensively. Doughty is faster and slicker with the puck while Johnson brings the physical aspect to this pairing.
Enstrom - Burns
Basically a replica of our top pairing, Enstrom is the Doughty type who can move the puck and bring speed to the pairing. Burns is the biggest physical player, while both can play at both ends of the ice very well.
Carey Price
Still young and has not reached his full potential but has already been an all-star. Very solid and flashy tender who is left hung out to dry often in Montreal yet has still played great hockey. His numbers and performance will improve playing behind out defense.
