It was a pure organizational decision. The Kings are proud to draft such an explosive skater - his ability to use his quickness to accelerate to full speed is something we, as an organization, found attractive. Alex is also strong with the puck and possesses a strong and accurate wrist shot. He can also make accurate passes to his line-mates. We feel he is the complete package and can make the Kings a perennial Stanley Cup contender.

I am very happy Datsyuk fell to me. Only players I would have taken over him were Sid, Stammer, or Malkin.

I know I really want to get more picks in. I wish we could schedule a time for some "express draft." Give everyone like 5-10 minuets per pick and if you cannot make it then submit a ranking list for your pick.

Thats what is hard about these thing, everyone isn't on at once. Once people get the hang of it, and send lists we'll get moving along quicker

Not to hate on Tbo because he is a good guy but I have around 30 players above Daniel on my draft board... I mean anyone can tap in perfect tape to tape backdoor passes from King Henrik... Just given ya a hard time Tbo.

We should have every GM submit a list of players and get an express draft day down. If you cannot make it pull from your list, or be skipped.

By votes. Each GM votes team in the playoffs, and votes each series
