Hurricane B finna rekt Texas/Mexico.

Instead of dreading flooding, we should look forward to cheap replenishment of water reserves in our dry areas.

But yeah, flood baby flood.

68 and sunny by me. Haven't had to turn the AC on yet this year.

Feel free to throw this all back at me in the winter, when I am dealing with sub zero temps and snow drifts.

We got under 2 inches of rain.. nice watering for all the plants.

My stupid grass will probably skyrocket now though.

I was driving on 290 yesterday during that rain.

Spray from the cars reduced visibility to like 1/10th of a mile.

An accident KO'd two semis with one jackknifing totally sideways across all 3 lanes in a spot with no shoulder on the left.

All traffic had to funnel to the open right shoulder.

Snow tires aren't just for snow :)

Rained for over 10 hours. Think I saw an Ark floating down the road.

We've had 5 straight days over 115 degrees here in Vegas and setting daily record highs. Supposed to be a couple more days above 115 and then a 'cooldown' to 112 degrees on Saturday. This has been the hottest of the three summers that I've lived here by far.

We've got an outside shot of hitting 115 again today for the 7th day in a row. Supposed to cool down a little tomorrow temperature wise however we're getting some humidity so it's still going to be miserable. I leave for San Diego on Monday and I cannot wait to get away from this heat.
