At this point I see Chicago and Indiana making the playoffs without any doubt (injuries apart). Cleveland, Detroit and even Milwaukee may have a chance to fight for the last two playoff spots. Because after Miami, Indiana, Chicago, Brooklyn, New York and Toronto, I could see a group of five teams (ATL, CLE, DET, WAS and MIL) fighting for places #7 and #8. From that group I pick the Hawks and the Cavs' to make the playoffs.

Toronto is not that good. It's definitely stronger than last year but not better than Cleveland and Washington

Yes. If they are healthy and don't trade Rondo. Have you actually looked at their roster?
Rondo And Bradley make up two of the better on the ball defenders in the league.
Brooks, Lee, Crawford can all score a bit.
Jeff Green and Gerald Wallace are both athletic wings that can defend and play multiple positions.
Sullinger, Bass, Humphries, Olynyk can all shoot and can all run the floor.
That is a team that has good midrange shooting. They can defend very well. They have a bunch of guys that are going to be able to get out and fast break with Rondo. That is a team that can run the floor and hit the mid range jumper. They won't stretch you out at 3 very well and that will kill them in the playoffs if they make it.
I take that team over the Pistons and Bucks. The Cavs and Wizards have a bunch of health concerns.
The East is 5 deep so 3 teams have to make the playoffs even if they don't need to. I think Raptors, Cavs, Celtics, Pistons, and Wizards are the next group. 3 of 5 will probably make it out of that group. I don't think it is likely that both the Wizards and Cavs stay healthy. One of those two will probably fall out. I am not as high on the Pistons as a lot of people.
I am kind of leaning towards Raptors and Celtics with the healthier of Cavs/Wizards.
It is still so early and so much can happen with injuries and trades it is hard to make a prediction.

I think it would be easier to argue if someone laid out starting line ups? Milwaukee was on the up but they blew that team up and who did they get? I don't understand why they would be in conversation?

Rondo is just that good to keep Boston in contention for the lower east seeds. He's always been underrated in my eyes. Top 3 PG IMO.
1) Heat
2) Bulls
3) Pacers
4) Nets
5) Knicks
The rest is a toss up. I'm not counting out the Wizards either, if they can stay healthy I think they'll be better than in previous years.

Don't agree here.
Out of my head I see CP3, Rose, Williams, Parker and Westbrook ahead of him.Then you could argue about guys like Irving as well.
Plus Rondo is out at least for half of the season if I'm not wrong.
Naaah, Celtics won't make it imo.

Disagree. Rondo is a better PG than Williams and Westbrook. You could say Parker is the better PG and I think you would have a good case but I think the Case for Rondo is just as good, even a little bit better. Westbrook is more of a SG than PG. He looks to score more than to pass. And some would argue that OKC's offense ran better when Harden handled the ball 2 seasons ago. I did however forget that he tore his ACL and could miss sometime. If he misses a year, which I don't think will be the case, he'll come back in late January. So yeah, that could diminish any chance the Celtics have at making a playoff run.

From what I have read he may be back for game 1. I don't think he will miss anywhere near half the season. All speculation at this point, why I don't like make predictions this early.
