My favorite teams
Derrick Rose is the best PG in the NBA. He said it at halftime of the Celtics-Magic game last night. Thoughts?
I'm scared because Rose can easily get hurt. The way he's getting hit and the way he's flying and attacking the rim it sometimes remind me that if he keeps doing that I don't think he'll last long without getting injured. What about you guys?
This.Rose isn't nearly as reckless as Westbrook is...have you seen that guy? Like a bowling ball!
I think Rose's body control is a big help in that area, but I do believe he gets hit often. He has gotten calls recently though.
This.
Rose tries to get the best shot possible. He's starting to get the calls he should've gotten now. I haven't seen a lot of Westbrook.
Yeah, they do work out together in the summer. I just haven't seen enough of Westbrook but on highlights. I know he is killing in OKC and out-shining Durant though. He has been beasting on the floor. They work out together and have many of the same abilities. Westbrook may be the biggest reason Rose wins MVP this year. He has stolen some of the thunder from Durant in OKC, though Durant has come on strong in recent weeks. Because Dirk got hurt, it may be a two man race: Rose and Dwight Howard.
Westbrook also raced the ball up court w/ 7 seconds left in a game already decided just so he could get a triple-double, something I find utterly classless.
There's your difference between Rose & Westbrook.

I think, at this point, it is unfair to say these three players:
Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams
are anything other than interchangeable. All of them are top 10 NBA players, and it is a 3-way horse race for who the best PG in the NBA is.
Rose reneged on an appearance on a sitcom that he was obligated to show up for without informing the people that he wouldn't show up...that was classless too. They are both young and neither seem to be classless individuals and shouldn't be looked at that way, at least not based on what they have done so far in their careers...
Hahaha you can't be serious with this. That example has absolutely nothing to do with this. There's two sides to that story. The producers say he blew it off, Rose said it was a mix up. No one knows the real truth but those parties. Westbrook, on the other hand, showed up an entire team in front of a sell out crowd just to pad his stats. There's no gray area to be found there. It's the poorest form of bad sportsmanship. When the opposing team throws in the towel, you don't throw one more punch on the way down. If I was on the Hawks I would have laid him out right after that assist.
Oh, btw, I'm not calling Westbrook classless, I'm calling THE PLAY classless, which it most certainly was & that Rose would never dream of doing that, EVER.
