Rose isn't nearly as reckless as Westbrook is...have you seen that guy? Like a bowling ball!

.

westbrook looks like he's two inches taller than rose, plus he's a bigger guy. i don't want rose playing like westbrook. i'm not sure that he can take that amount of contact on a daily basis.

Rose said he overslept... big deal?

Maybe not to you...just as the Westbrook thing is not a big deal to me. I saw Anthony Bowie do the same thing Westbrook did about 15 years ago and he pissed Doug Collins off...but I don't think I guy's character should be questioned over a mistake such as that. Not at all...that is my point. And by the way, it doesn't matter what the reason is, Rose didn't fulfill his obligation. "I overslept" is not an excuse...

Westbrook is not two inches taller, and he is not bigger, he is about the same height, and he is slimmer than Rose...

FWIW Westbrook was 3/4 of an inch taller without shoes pre-draft, Rose has 1/4 of an inch in wingspan on him. They were within 4 pounds of each other too. They're basically the same size.

Rose and Williams are pretty much 1a and 1b in the NBA.. I still think Williams edges out Rose as an overall PG but I think Rose is the better scorer.

people grow after they turn 19. i did. Look at them when they stand next to each from their last game. I think a thunder blogger on espn today suggested he's at least 6'4 and a half.

He is ONE OF THE BEST and I am happy with him being "ONE OF"

Williams and Paul are still great PG's but they play in UTAH and OKLAHOMA...UGH! so I think the Media kinda leave those guys out sometimes, only time they get to shine is in the Post Season

Westbrook is a BEAST also but he kinda gets overshadowed by Durant of course

I like all of them, of course I am a bigger fan of Rose but I am a fan of those guys as well...EVEN RONDO!

and Parker has accomplished more then all of those guys to be honest and he always get left out of the conversation, Parker has a RING and a Finals MVP and since getting divorced, he has having one of his BEST SEASONS!

Rose lied about the situation. The network had a contractual agreement with Rose and he didn't fulfill his obligation. That was classless on his part. It's the poorest form of integrity...reneging on an agreement with ever saying anything to the people he had the agreement with.

One showed up a team on television...the other showed up a damn television show. Plain and simple. So until Westbrook shows otherwise, I can say he would never do what Rose did....

However, I choose to let these young guys live their lives and learn from their mistakes rather than put one over the other morally, on the court or off the court. They both seem to be good, respectable people who are really good basketball players.

Wow you twisted my words, big surprise. I never said Westbrook was classless. I said the ACT was classless, which you can clearly see I wrote. He disrespected the game in the one of the worst ways one can, showing up an opponent for your own statistical gains. Rose's situation has he said-they said on both sides, it's not cut & dry what happened. And honestly, he's not an actor, it's not his job, they aren't his bosses, so I could give a crap about that whole situation. Mistake or not, Westbrook made a clear cut decision to show up an entire team on television.

Dude...why did you even bring it up then? That is EXACTLY what you were saying...

You said:
"Westbrook also raced the ball up court w/ 7 seconds left in a game already decided just so he could get a triple-double, something I find utterly classless.

There's your difference between Rose & Westbrook."

JerseyChaser.com

Its an unwritten rule. Westbrook was never fined, never suspended...none of that. So if you were not saying that Rose was some kind of moral superior to Westbrook, and "that was the difference" between the two...what were you saying?
