#Bears' Charles Leno allowed 7 QB hurries and was flagged twice Sunday. @PFF graded him the lowest of any tackle, league-wide, all year

I refuse to believe that the game he played on Sunday was the worst OT performance in the league this season.

Great performance, not even close.

But Hali did not have an impact on that game.

PFF plays it pretty fast and loose with pressures and how big a deal they are.

He's preformed as well as Bushrod in the last two games, in my opinion. No grading system is bullet proof, they all have flaws.

yeah, Houston got a 3.2 grade and Berry graded out at 5.2

Jay really is a hero if he can beat guys having such legendary games. Long wasn't even mentioned in the grades.

to give you some context, McPhee, who had a great game in run support and actually notched a sack and a blocked FG, only graded out at 3.2, the same as Justin Houston.

they probably counted every time that Jay had to slide up in the pocket as a hurry, and then didn't give Jay any credit on his score for avoiding the rush. double-dinged.

Rewatch game.

Again, we're just lucky cutler is good in the pocket .

The fact that Tamba Hali didn't show up the entire game says Leno was definitely not "awful".

There are maybe 2-3 LTs in the league that do not require the QB to be good in the pocket.

People have way to high of expectations for what an OL should be able to do. The OL needs to allow the QB to step up and deliver, it is unrealistic that they are going to dominate and make it look like pass skelly.

The best OLs in the league do not provide consistently clean pockets.

The best OLs in the league do not go games without pressures.

Leno did not dominate, but he should have been dominated on the road against Hali and I do not remember seeing Hali making many plays at all.

What about the tackle that gave up 2 sacks and a FF to Hardy?

He wasn't great, but better OTs struggle to be great in that situation.

I thought Cutler had a clean pocket to step into for a lot of the game.

That's how I gauge an OT is doing their job

The fact that Tamba Hali didn't show up the entire game says Leno was definitely not "awful".

so Leno gave up 7 hurries alone and notched a -10.8 PFF grade, Grasu gave up a handful of hurries and graded out at -4.3. and how many times did Jay get sacked? how many zombies did this guy have to dodge to get off passes? how many starting receivers did he have in the game?

essentially Jay dodged bullets all day, was throwing to bad receivers and a TE that dropped at least 4 passes, was playing with hamstring injury and still managed to lead the team down the field twice in the fourth quarter and win the game. i have absolutely no idea how anyone could be upset with that unless they have an anti-jay agenda.

what did you do when Cutler led those td drives? did you celebrate? did you facepalm? what?
