Big loss for the Bobcats tonight considering they don't have very many home games remaining and they just suck on the road even worse than us. We can extend the lead to 2.5 with a win tomorrow.

DT do you still want to play Celtics?

I wanted to play the Cavs. I'm still on board with any of the three of them beating the tar out of us.

We are going to get beaten pretty bad by any of the 3 teams IMO..they are just better and more talented than us. The idea is to make the playoffs, get the young guys especially Rose some playoff exposure, make them realize just how much harder they're going to have to work to reach that level and use it as momentum going into next season....or isnt that the general idea?

I think the general idea is to have repeat of what we did to Heat in 05-06

i think a d-rose vs lebron playoff series would be a great storyline.

plus mo williams is much worse than rondo defensively, so he could blow up if given the chance. although i would take rafar over mo for rose's sake. i still think i'd rather play cleveland, because it will be overhyped.

This is good. The Bobcats are now 2 back, and if we can get a win tomorrow (with a Det. loss at Philly) Bulls will be in decent shape.

I'm hoping for Orlando in the playoffs. They're beating the crap out of Cleveland tonight.

Somene brought up the point about exposure for a Bulls/Cavs matchup. That would be good for Rose, better time slot for the games. Interesting way to look at it.

Not gonna happen..That Heat team wasnt in the same stratopsphere as any of the big 3 teams this year, offensively or defensively. It would be an upset of monumental proportions if we beat any one of them. We dont have the talent and we dont play anything close to the defense we played that year to pull off an upset. If we somehow do it, i will happily eat eat a triple serving of crow lathered in barbacue sauce

Give it a guess.
I would prefer taking on Orlando or Cleveland if given the choice, because the only path to victory here is through injury to a superduperstar, and Boston without one of their 3 will still beat us handily. I would really like to face the Magic, since without Howard, they're left without a defensive scheme, or an inside presence.

At the same time, I can't feel too strongly either way because the chance of an injury is so small, and making the playoffs is more about maintaining a winning culture here for Rose and getting the young'uns experience as opposed to actually winning anything.

I actually like a Cavs matchup more than a Magic matchup. As you said more attention for us from LeBron and maybe Rose can learn a few things from him.

We got big help from Miami tonight. Bobcats and Bulls both giving one another opportunities that neither seem to want  . As for who we rather play, I rather be the 8th seed and play the Cavs. Besides Lebron no one scares me on that roster however Orlando has more than Dwight that put fear into me.

I think moving up to 7 just sounds better, irrespective of the matchup. Given that the guys are highly likely to get crushed by whichever team they play, I'll take the higher seed over being the last team in. Plus, angling for 8 is a bit of a dangerous game with the Bobcats playing well and Detroit not - better the Bulls worry about just getting in and not risk ending up the team on the outside by being overly concerned with matchups.

Hedo is very underrated and 3 point specialists have killed us all year long. Plus they have Rashard Lewis.

And if it's between Boston and Cleveland, I'd rather have LeBron beat us than that D'bag KG.

I dont know Celts are pretty banged up however I think they are fooling everyone by holding out KG.
