49ers won’t sign him. He will be a free agent and then they will get another 3rd round pick in return. This is what good teams do.

Admit it if the Bears got young for a conditional end of round 3rd you would be over the moon.
Most of them would have been over the moon if they traded a 2nd for Chase Young, and now they are pretending like they knew all along his value was only a conditional 3rd.

Now that the Bears traded for the other guy, those same people are now telling you that getting Young on a much lower than they expected deal is now not favorable to what the Bears gave up for Montez Sweat—a very similar and more durable player, but also 3 years older.

It's going to be fun watching people magically remember Chase Young has injury issues when the Bears sign him in free agency.

The teams talk to the players agents before the trade. The terms of the extenstion are agreed upon pending a physical. Then the teams agree on trade package. Bears & Sweat probably already agree on terms, and Commanders got full trade compensation. Chase probably wants top Edge Rusher money. No team in the league is agreeing to that shit. 49ers only team willing to take a flyer on him on a rental, because they are on a Super Bowl run. Chase will hit free agency after proving he's healthy a full season and playoffs, to prove he's worth Top money. Hence, light trade compenstation of 3rd comp pick. Yall gotta RELAX.

Eh, the 9ers made one of the worst trades ever when they drafted Lance.
I agree on that but it’s not bothering them as much, we miss on a QB and get a complaint letter from the reaper because he’s tired of sharpening his scythe

Doesn't the condition make it a second round pick?

Of course but all the good teams in the nfl take chances and somehow don’t give up much to do so
Exactly. Bears are dog shit. Not going to take a chance on someone with such an injury. People here have a problem with bears drafting pre-injured but not this instance???

People seem to forget this. They also traded away Alvin Kamara’s pick for a bum.

They have a stacked roster and don’t have to pay a franchise qb franchise qb money.

I like this move by Poles. This roster needs elite talent, via draft, FA or trade.
To be fair, they don’t have a franchise QB to pay in SF
