the closest thing to cheap alcohol I drink is Yellowtail Shiraz.....I actually just like it....

When it comes to hard liquor I can't drink cheap stuff........I had everclear and koolaid when I was in the army and that is the last time I drank anything cheap.

Yeah, me and Mrs Sheep got on a couple months kick of drinking that. Good stuff.

All I drink these days is some Shiner or whatever IPA tickles my fancy.

1. UV Blue - Cheap but doesn't have a strong alcohol taste to it.

2.. Fireball - I'm sure everyone has heard of fireball but it taste like those hot tamale candies or big red gum.

3. Captain Morgan - Jack and Coke is a cheap favorite.

My favorite of flavor of whiskey is whiskey. My kid and her friends used to love all that sit you mentioned, must be a generational thing. When Stoli first came out with lemon and pepper flavored vodka, okay, but cotton candy flavor, just no. Captain Morgan is syrup, I'm hoping your a young guy and will out grow all that crazy flavored stuff.

What’s everyone’s go to, when it comes to the cheap stuff?

For me it Christian Brothers VS. Now, I’m a Brandy/Cognac lover. Christian Brothers is IMHO the only good stuff in its price range. Smooth, fruity, delicious. Punches well above it’s weight as far as price is concerned. It’s actually distilled and aged properly, vs all the other bottom shelf swill. I actually prefer it to Korbel. Hell, I have to get into Cognacs to find any grape distilled liquor that I prefer to it. IMHO it’s the most underrated, widely available hard liquor on the market.

I have CBB around for Christmas eggnog because I don't want anybody touching my cognac. I have no problem with having cheap liquor around for mixers, anybody wasting premium vodka on a Bloody Mary, should be shot. Same goes for anybody drinking rot gut like Skol on the rocks, unless you live on lower Wacker, then I guess it's probably not on the rocks and just straight out of the bottle. mmmm

Costco brand vodka and Canadian whiskey.

The vodka is rumored to be rebranded grey goose that you get for 13.98 for a 1.75

And the Canadian whiskey is equal if not better than crown Royal for 18.99 for a 1.75.

I haven't found better booze cheaper than that anywhere.

The Costco brand vodka comes in two styles. One is indeed bottled in France that bottles Grey Goose and uses the same water
It is their "Signature" vodka . The other one is branded as American vodka I believe.

A post went up on Reddit comparing two well-known vodkas through UnderTheLabel, a Consumers Digest-like site that offers intriguing facts about alcohol and spirits. The comparison between Grey Goose Vodka and Costco's Kirkland Signature Vodka revealed that the two vodkas are made in the same region (France) using the same water. Costco's vodka scored higher in blind taste tests and is sold at less than HALF the price. This isn't the first time a comparison of the two vodkas has floated around the internet, so while we can't know for certain it's true, we're apt to think there's a reason Kirkland Vodka has such a tremendous following. Now the only question that remains is who wants to take a trip to Costco tonight?
