I remember it being recorded as one of the coldest games in history of the NFL, but I can't remember the actual temp. I was in the high grandstands and my dads beer literallly was frozen, a guy behind us puked on his shirit and it was frozen and I was numb when I gt home. This was afew years ago-- when Rex Grossman came out and played in the 2nd half. Does anyone know how cold taht gmae was?

Nah, that game wasn't that bad. Coldest game I've ever been to was Bears vs Texans in 04. I watched my beer freeze as I cracked it open. Shit was insane.

I went to that game. Flew in from Idaho with my duck hunting gear. It was cold enough that people were walking around with frozen beer on their backs from the row behind them. Awesome game! -7 if I remember correctly.

That was my 2nd ever bears game. Actual game-time temp was below zero and the windchill was excessive. I remember beer turning to slushy almost immediately, snot freezing b/c nose was running because of the cold. I was actually pretty warm with all the under-armour, etc, save for my feet--the cement was beyond painful to stand on.

Crazy game--i still remember jumping up and down with everyone in the section when Rex came out, and bombed his first or 2nd throw for like 50 yds, yelling "oh my god we have an offense!!" How short-lived that sentiment turned out to be.

I was there. End of the fall semester surprise trip for my girlfriend (now wife). I blind folded her and drove her to the airport.

She still gives me shit about only packing thongs, LOL. That night was so cold. But we all felt warmer when Rex came on the field and hit Moose Droppings over the middle.

That day was brutally cold. Bought a 20 oz of Coke (I was 17 at the time) to drink and it was frozen solid about 15 minutes later. Had to buy a few extra articles of clothing just to keep the frostbite away.

Chad Hutchinson was at QB. I think that's all you need to know about the Bears performance that day.

It was 14 degrees at that Houston game, wind chill of -3.

At the Atlanta game, it was a balmy 12 degrees with a wind chill of -1.

Another really cold game I remember watching from the warmth of a living room:

Bears/Packers '08, 0 degrees with a -20 wind chill (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200812220chi.htm)

I flew out to Chicago for that game. What I remember was game time temperature of 2 degrees, and -19 with the wind chill. So true about he beer, frozen immediately, how to down it. Switched to mixed drinks, that didn't freeze as quick for some reason. The Urlacher/Vick comment was correct, he personally shut down Vick, and I don't think I have ever seen a stadium erupt more on a complete pass then when Grossman came in. A game to remember for sure.

I was out there at 6 in the morning tailgating. My defroster on the POS car I had was useless that day. We stayed until Hutchinson fumbled and Houston returned it. Game was fucking brutal.

I remember the Bears had a real nice opening drive then Thomas Jones fumbled around the 15-yard line. All downhill from there. First and only time I've ever left a professional sporting event early. We left just before the 2-minute warning. I remember hearing the collective groan of the crowd during my walk to the car as that last fumble happened.

The beer, I'd never seen anything like it until the Houston game. I remember I took one swig, went to take another, and got nothing. I cracked the next one open and watched the damn thing freeze. After that, we started chugging them down within seconds. Only way to get the most of them.

I remember one play where Urls ran down Vick to the right side of the offensive line in the flat for like a 3 yard loss...Vick got so frustrated he slammed the ball down into the turf..lol I have that game on disc here..Great game...Almost as good as the 06 Arizona game, but not much could top that one!
