I was a 6th round pick for the Blackhawks, I never got the chance to play for them, in 2009 I was traded with another former Hawk to a cup contender, i am still currently playing in the NHL today, Who am I?

Mike Leighton? All thought he was not traded he was claimed off waivers so I am probably wrong.

LW, I remember when Leighton got traded...I think he was traded solo, though. Still pondering this one (without looking it up).

I ended up trying to look it up after I made the Leighton guess kind of know it was wrong, I still can not figure it out.

That's a hell of a guess, though. I can't think of it.

Yup, I am sad to say I thought it was Hasek at first thought... but he did start his career late and had a few retirement years off. I just thought how the Dominator still dominiated the NHL even into his 40s and thought he would have been at the top... he is still behind Belfour, Tony-O, and Glenn the Great.

Troy Murray and Eddie Olczyk both had long careers, I am stumped by this one without looking it up... I will give others a chance before I google it.

Meh, I changed my mind and throw out an easier one....

Despite only playing 3 seasons with the Hawks (as well as never getting to play a 4th season with any other team that I played for during my entire career), I was a huge fan-favorite while with the Hawks. I made my debut with Calgary and am in the top 50 all time in NHL penalty minutes.

PS - Sorry for interrupting other questions, got involved in something else as I was writing this.

Konroyd came to mind as well as the two you mention, but he had a long career as well.

My guess would be Theo Fleury, was a fav. player of mine in the 90's
