Deal #1:
Tough move to trade H4 but with a Seabrook raise coming I felt I had to. He can be replaced in free agency with a good core group of Defensive D-men. McCabe bring veteran ledership and can put up top 2 minutes playing on the PK and PP, giving Keith and Campbell some rest.
With the Frolik trade Kopecky wasn't needed. Toronto was very interested in him for their playoff run, andit was a good cap dump for Deal #2

Deal #2:
I gave up some good prospects, but Calgary was looking to rebuild. Those prospects were expendablewth Morin, Leddy, Olsen, Makarov, Pirri almost ready to join Toews, Kane, Keith, Frolik. Morrison gives me a second line center putting Frolik on the wing where he is comfortable. Pardy isthephysical #6 D-man tha was needed. He will excel on the PK, and can be a shut down guy if needed.
