During the 2009-10 campaign, the oft-mentioned offense is what continued to excite the Chicago Blackhawks fanbase.

Known to be one of the most exciting shows on ice this past season, there may not be one aspect that the Blackhawks can hide or consider "underrated" come the drop of the puck on Oct. 7 in Colorado.

Last year the Blackhawks offense ranked...

Madden was a definite upgrade... Now Dowell needs to come in and get the job done on that 4th line. It is his job to lose right now.

Im pretty confident that Toews, Sharp, Bolland, Dowell will have a decent Face-Off win %

Im really excited for Dowell

Well, this article could spring a debate. Winning face-offs does not equate wins, imho, and thus, not underrated. After the face-off win, execution (where talent is manifested) is where games are won or lost.

I don't think we'll see eye-to-eye on this one, Savvy. :D

Yes after face off execution is what makes the play, but every faceoff win gives you a higher percentage chance for a successful play and less for a bad play against. A lot comes off from a faceoff.

The PK unit is a bit of a worry to be lesser without Madden this next year but Sharpe or possibly Dowell can do well but still gonna have less skill and experience there.

Ya, our PK may be a little down from last year, but who knows? maybe we will find a PK diamond in the rough with someone like Dowell or Makarov
