My favorite teams
Matt LLoyd is the primary reason why the Orlando Magic job is much more attractive than the Bulls or Pelicans currently, imo.
What a huge sample size...YEAH ONLY IOWA OR NEW MEXICO PLAYERS FOREVERRRRRRRHas anyone read this: http://www.blogabull.com/2015/5/18/...draft-successfully-the-loss-of-matt-lloyd-and
This makes it sounds like with Forman we'll only draft players from Iowa or New Mexico.
lol... Dougie McD, Tony Snell, Bairstow are you samples. What a huge sample size...YEAH ONLY IOWA OR NEW MEXICO PLAYERS FOREVERRRRRRR
He looks way better than his brother Jerami. I think he's projected to go mid to late lottery though.I'd like Jerian Grant...dk if he will be available that late though. I've been watching him since his freshmen year. Can play either guard spot at 6'5. Great passer and good defender. He really knows how to get his team involved. His 3 shot is streaky but that will get better over time.
3 players in 2 years from 2 schools? ZOMG GAR ONLY PICKS PLAYERS FROM THOSE SCHOOLS!lol... Dougie McD, Tony Snell, Bairstow are you samples.
Marquis Teague doesn't fit in that realm though.
Kirk Hinrich is from Iowa.
Fred Hoiberg....!! OH MY!
Yeah, he'll be gone by the time we pick.He looks way better than his brother Jerami. I think he's projected to go mid to late lottery though.

True, but I don't think we can label it as a true trend after two drafts. Could just be a weird coincidence. And really, who cares about Bairstow? The author certainly didn't give a squat about Erik Murphy who was from Florida.I think the point is, under LLoyd you had draft picks from Duke, Florida, USC, Marquette, etc.... Whereas so far, with the only exception being a draft pick out of huge necessity the Forman picks have been from areas he is familiar with.
I still think overall that article is kind of weak. It does show that Forman has indeed only looked in areas he knows minus the Teague pick, which according to the Bulls they were surprised he fell that far so they picked him.I think the point is, under LLoyd you had draft picks from Duke, Florida, USC, Marquette, etc.... Look, I'm not going to lie...Horace Grant was my favorite Bull of all time, so for sentimental reasons aside I like the idea of drafting Grant. I had it in my head that he was 6'5'' as well, but now that gives me pause.I've seen mocks of him falling into the mid 20's.
Grant measured as 6'3" w/o shoes at the combine.
