You have to balance the salaries out. People on here just think the Bulls can trade Boozer for Howard. Poof. It doesn't work like that, we may have to give up 3 pieces (Deng, Noah, Boozer) if Orlando wants to trade Howard. The Bulls could use Arenas as the 2 guard. Just sayin.

I would take Turkoglu over Arenas anyday

Boozer
Deng, matches up

Howard
Turkoglu
:shifty:
Bulls have 2 1st rounders this year
The one next year
and a if need be a 2nd rounder, either this year or next

Would much rather do this.
Or even Noah,taj,first rounders,ect

Why would you trade for Arenas??!!!! SMH

so if you acquired Howard you would be mad because Arenas? LOLOL

Agent e you cant trade a first rounder two years in a row in the same trade. It would have to be the 2 1sts this year and another future 1st in 2013 and 2015 most likely.

Any team with Derrick Rose, Gilbert Arenas, and Dwight Howard is going to contend for a championship for a long time. And if the Bulls managed to keep Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson... and added another wing player.... That is something that would strike fear into Miami's hearts.

A semi-realistic trade:

CHI trades Deng, Boozer, and Asik to ORL for Howard and Arenas

Magic line-up:
C - Asik/Bass
PF- Boozer/Anderson
SF- Deng/Turkoglu/Clark
SG- Redick/(maybe J-Rich if re-signed)
PG- Nelson/Duhon

Bulls' line-up:
C - Howard/Noah
PF- Gibson/Noah
SF- ?/Brewer
SG- Arenas/Korver/Brewer
PG- Rose/Arenas

I think I'd do it

switch arenas and redick and that is a perfect trade for the bulls..although orlando probably wants to keep redick despite his undeserved lack of PT

Is this going to be what the whole summer is going to be about?

Is every topic going to be about Dwight? He isn't coming here.

Can we move the discussion to what we really need, which is a 2 way 2 guard?

id say we have more to offer than, LA, some might disagree, if he comes here, hed play along side a young star, rather than an aging one. 2 guard they needed this season. Next season, ill take DHoward.

With what went down with Arenas and how he is I wouldnt want him. Id much rather have Turk or Reddick. I mean if it came down to it and we had to take him to get Howard I obviously would but if we can get someone else I would much rather do that.

Say by next year, we get J-Rich and Dwight Howard. We get Dwight by trading Noah, Boozer, Asik, a first round pick and a second round pick.

PG: Derrick Rose
SG: Jason Richardson
SF: Luol Deng
PF: Taj Gibson
C: Dwight Howard

That line-up would win 65-70 games in the regular season. How would they fair vs. The Miami Heat?
What's the bench look like?

give em Boozer, Asik, 2 first rounders, maybe a 2 rounder
If Orlando took that they'd be brain dead.

Why in holy hell would Orlando accept that trade?

Nay trade for Howard would have to have Jo.I think they would want Jo instead of Boozer. Boozers value is really dropping before to long the guy is gonna have negative trade value. The playoffs this year really hurt his stock IMO.

Dwight Howard was the best player in the league this year IMO(i know that probably blasphemy on here). He has a steep price taking on Gilbert would be that price IMO he would be so worth it. Plus with the rumored amenity that is very likely he could just be cut. Any time you have a chance to get a C as dominant as Howard you have to trade whatever it takes to get it done. IMO

howard may be the best player in the league but there's a line between reasonable worth and just selling your whole team for one player

Miami sold their entire team except for DWade and it turned out well for them.

Wouldn't it be hard to lose if the Bulls had the best PG and C in the game right now?

DWade and Shaq, Kobe and Shaq. Rose and Howard??

Adding J-Rich & D12 looks nice on paper.....I even love it! Thing is, it won't happen that nice for us. I'm just being a realist.

After all the controversy that was last summer's FA period for us on here. I'm just more of a skeptic this time around. Though, I will gladly talk about the possibilities on said players coming to Chicago. I'm clearly gonna do a better job of keeping my hopes a bit lower.
