Hi, I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite message board on the Citadel.
Bulls Fan Since: 1990 (I came in at a good time didn't I?)
Favorite Current Bulls Player: Its impossible not to say DR1...but I love Jo, Taj and Jimmy.
Favorite All-Time Bulls Player: I may be alone on this one, but....Michael Jordan.
Favorite Bulls Moment: A regular season game at the Mad House against the hated Bad Boys on 11-11-92. I was 8 years old...I had to lie to my parents that I was going to bed and had to sneak downstairs to watch the Bulls play the Pistons on WGN...only to have them hear me screaming at my 14" TV in the middle of the 4th quarter and they allowed me to stay up and watch the game because they would have had to drag me kicking and screaming to bed.
Anyway, all I ever heard growing up was how the Bulls couldn't beat the Pistons....that's all I heard. Even after sweeping them in the '91 Conference Finals and going on to win the whole thing....I still dreaded the Bulls playing the Pistons because I didn't want to listen to the Bulls being owned by the Pistons at any capacity. So it was safe to say I wanted this game----but it was an absolute battle. It was a game I didn't feel as if the Bulls had any control over and that anything they could do on either end relied on Michael Jordan. The below video is a great recap of the game- but forward to 9:30 left in the video for the game winner by MJ. The end of this video just shows the pure emotion involved in this game...it was my favorite moment ever as a sports fan and at that time I really knew- I would love the Chicago Bulls for the rest of my life.
