Taking over games refers to scoring, not defense.

Maybe you guys missed thetotal post. He scored 11 pts in the fourth quarter. 6 while jordan was on the bench. I believe he score 25 in the game.


And here's a fun fact for you guys. The bulls went into the fourth quarter down by 15 that's the largest margin to have to overcome in an nba finals. And pippen did it.

I said he was not a clutch player offensively...he was not a closer. I still feel that way. For every one time you look at, I can count a bunch of games like game 6 against Phoenix, game 7(s) against Detroit, etc. where it was all on Jordan and Pippen was M.I.A. on the offensive end to close games. Kukoc added that element in the 2nd set of championships...that was not Pip's role, period.

Yeah if Pippen was Jordan, he'd be better than Jordan. That doesn't make sense to me.

Pippen had Jordan first and foremost. Pippen had great games when it counted, and was the 2nd best player on those 6 teams. Jordan was the closer on those 6 teams and don't forget it.

I'm watching the finals in 93 game 6 its the middle of the fourth quarter and the bulls (including jordan) are 0-8. With jordan taking like 4-5 shots.
