Rare Rizzo-less day. LaHair getting rewarded for his two steal day as well.

He looked a bit uncomfortable coming into 3B on Castro's double (if that's the play I remember correctly) but he played the rest of the game. A rest day isn't that big of a deal at this point. Latos is a good pitcher though so LaHair might end up looking silly.

I can't stand Volstad. He is pitching his way off this team every team he throws.

One thing I do really like is that we're 4th in OBP out of the first position in the line up. 34 points above league average. It's good to see that DeJesus is being used effectively. He has a .373 OBP out of the lead off spot. It's hard not to love that.

Yeah, we knew Volstad wasn't going to be very good...hell, i'm just glad he hasn't murdered a few gatorade coolers, personally.

DeJesus has been a good player for us all year. He does most everything well. I'm hoping we can still unload Sori this season/next offseason mainly so we can keep Dejesus and his smokin' hot wife in our outfield for all of next year. I get if we get a good deal for him we have to take it, but he's impressed this season.

I like DeJesus' new found power approach. He has been driving the ball good lately.

Why don't we call up a young player to throw on the mound instead of this suck every time? Shouldn't we have learned yet that Volstad is not good?
