That bastard Burrell always kills the Cubs.

I'm about done with Randy Wells too. He can rot in AAA next season.

Wells had that one good year in either '07 or '08 or something and now he thinks he's entitled to a holiday in his honor.

You don't bother to take into consideration that he has been incredibly unlucky this year.

Nothing unlucky about Wells' line drive rate, which is fourth highest in all of baseball. Those are just balls being hit hard off him.

It would help if he toned down the late nights too.

Last year he has very lucky, this year he is very unlucky. Look at the stats. Last year he had a 3.05 ERA, with a 3.88 FIP. This year, his FIP is better at 3.56 yet his ERA is quite a bit higher at 4.37. He is striking out more batters and giving up less HR this year. Part of the problem is that his BABIP is about 40 points higher. I think that Wells can find a medium and be a very good asset to this pitching staff. For cheap.

Castro's fourth hit ties the game at 7.

Starlin is in the running for the batting title now, as long as he gets enough PA.

I still think Castro has a chance for ROY. Right now, i thought Buster Posey was leading but I don't know about that now.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  2. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Chicago State Cougars
  2. DePaul Blue Demons
  3. Illinois-Chicago Flames
  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats
I hate how people keep saying Ike Davis is a candidate and then completely exclude Castro and Colvin. They both have better stats than freaking Davis.

For this team (as far as young players are concerned):
The only problem is...
The current rookies...
make us fans...
WANT MORE ROOKIES!
