I attended the first game of the 2005 World Series. It was the coolest experience I ever had at a baseball game.
That’s something I will always remember.
It is too bad the owner killed all the momentum of the current group by refusing to augment the team by spending money and hiring a museum piece to be the manager followed by a complete joke.
He destroyed a promising rebuild. Now they are in baseball limbo.

The Sox may be the worst franchise in US professional sports now that Snyder sold the Commanders. The Bulls aren't far behind. That first quarter was embarrassing tonight. Even the Blackhawks after all the SA stuff and how unbelievably bad they are right now could be in the discussion. Not a great time to be a Chicago Sports fan.

Right now any Reinsdorf owned team sucks donkey balls. Hope he takes both the Sox and the Bulls to wherever. Sox have always been the ugly stepchild to the Cubs. That will NEVER change.

I don't think he'll take them anywhere because he cant make as much money as he can in a market this large. He's also going to twist the state's arm into renewing his lease on GRF so he'll basically have a free stadium that he keeps all revenue from. I honestly think he's going to move the Bulls and Sox to the Stadium Network once the NBCSN contract expires next year and that will be the real death knell for the relevance of either franchise. The Bulls will always have MJ and the 6 titles, but the Sox will essentially become on par with the Royals which...is apparently what JR wants anyways based on recent hires and this off-season.
