say hi...

Yeah ... hard to dispute that.

LA Dodgers looked real, real good in the NL, particularly when Kemp was destroying everything in the lineup.

If they get a healthy Kemp back ... look out.

Regarding the buy or sell issue ...

I think the only reason you sell is if you know that there's a solid group of prospects ready to go in a year or two, and you're looking for a few more pieces to compliment them.

Everything I've seen/read/heard (and correct me if I'm wrong) tells me that's not the truth. So buy, KW. Buy while you've got the talent to compete with the big club.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
If come mid-July they're up, tied or only like 5 or less GB then buy.

If its Mid July and their 10 GB...just sell. I know 10GB on August 1st isn't a death warrant, but we've all seen this movie before....

Rangers are like .500 after being 14-4. They're still the best team in the AL though, IMO.

Exactly. If our pitching gets hot and our hitting gets hot at the same time in the playoffs, we have a legitimate shot. There isn't really one team that's great this year. So there won't even be that tough opponent to get past.

More than ever, every team has a shot.

Texas says hello

Texas is overrated in my opinion. What are they gonna do? Lose in the World Series for a threepeat?

They have good players, but I think that any of the AL teams that will be in the playoffs can beat them.

Otherwise there really isn't a major favorite. And the favorites lose a lot. Last year it was the Phillies. This year it could be the Rangers.

And what I was really referring to was that the teams that are in the playoff mix right now aren't the usual teams and I think that there's like 6 teams with a really good shot to win it all.

Texas is heads and tails better than the White Sox. Yes that doesn't guarantee they will win a short series, but the odds are certainly in their favor. Anything can happen in the postseason, but lets not act like the White Sox are in the top tier of teams in the AL.

I never said that about the White Sox. Because that would be an absolute lie.

I'm saying that there are teams out there that can beat the Rangers. I never said it was the White Sox.

I know what the White Sox are. AL Central leaders in the beginning of June by a small margin. And this division isn't great. Never did I say that the White Sox were the best in the AL or had a great shot at winning even a series in the playoffs.

Wasn't entirely directed at you TheChicagoFan which is why I didn't quote you in the post, but rather just a general statement about this anything in October mantra.

I thought you guys were pessimistic. You sound like a Cubs fan when you say that.

i always am negative. Im talking specifically about the playoffs and what happens when you get there. The sox have to get there first. If they do my statement is applied and nothing would surprise me.
