They just opened a chick-fil-a here in Berwyn or north riverside. Whatever it's on Harlem and cermack. But people were camped out there the night before. So I figure it has to be good...or Jesus is making an appearance

i went to that one last weekend. it was a clusterfuck because I think they had corporate employees there training all the newbs. there were more employees than dine in customers. place was busy though. they jacked up my order (obviously a chaos issue with a new store) but made up for it by giving our original order on top of what we had, plus free ice cream and another couple sandwiches to go.

I hesitated to tell this story earlier because I feel like people take advantage of this kind of shit, but whatevs. It's not like it's my bible belt chicken chain or anything...

I can't say it enough doe, go to a Mcdonalds and get treated like shit for ordering bullshit food that will probably be inferior to their own standards, then go to a Chick fil A and note the difference. It's substantial.

I wish I had access to the training/hypnotism/pills they have for their employees. It's like that at every store I've visited. It's like they realize that they don't have a paycheck without your satisfaction. I'm going to start sending my shitty employees to Chik fil A to get a lesson on customer service.

There was a good 3-4 year period when Browns was doing bad, and they didn't even advertise on TV. I used to troll my girl and sing "Bob Evans, it tastes better!". After about 4 or 5 trips to Bob Evans, she stopped me and said, "Wait, that isn't right." LMAO

Never had Chick-Fil-A though. Been meaning to check it out, but every time I have a taste for fast-food chicken, I go to Chick-N-Spice in Joliet. Brett, have you tried Chick-N-Spice?

No, it's in downtown. Totally run down area near the JJC art campus. Since I moved out this way, everyone kept telling me to try it, then last year I finally did. Usually I expect a chicken place to just be a chicken place, and I also expect it to be simply over-hyped, but wow, this place really lived up to the hype. I brought some to other people too, and everyone reacts the same way. They are like, oh a chicken place, big deal. Then they try it and get hooked.

If it's fried chicken it has to be Popeye's spicy. Their biscuits are wicked too.

I actually have to say the best chicken sandwiches I have had are from Hardees believe it or not. Hardess also has some of the best biscuits I have ever eaten as well. Popeyes is good for sure. Best Fried Chicken I get is from our Jewel Osco, Stolfas is also good !
