I would.

I watched him in a few games because I was watching Andersen. He was very dynamic.

I watched him at the Senior Bowl and am convinced he was playing on a different plane than the rest. He has speed, hands, and the ability to separate.

Fuck 50/50 guys. I’m done looking at them. The only thing a contested catch guy in college is is a dude who can’t get open. Give me a guy who gets open and murders DBs’ ankles.

Straight up, If this guy is available in the second, take him like found money and laugh all the way to the bank. The Bengals could have had the top OL in the draft, and they went Chase. How did that work out for them?

Yeah. I’m convinced he’s my dude. Also, I hope NDSU’s FB/RB joins us next year when he comes out.

I think Jewish Watson in the 5th round is a better value.

CC: @Grimson
I don’t see him making it past the 3rd, at the latest. I know he’s being mocked late, but a lot of this mocks aren’t changing based on the Shrine and Senior Bowls. Or, at the very least, are changing slowly.

If he would legitimately be there in the 5th, by all means, grab him and take him away. I don’t think he will be.

He looks good on the highlights, but I saw some really awful coverage.

If he did really well in the bowl practices, I would take more stock in that than his highlights because it would be against some CBs that will make it to the NFL.

This was exactly why I had Dontario Drummond as my guy over him until He showed out in the bowls and convinced me.

Also, the highlights don’t show it, but motherfucker can block! I mean, he really is good at run blocking. NDSU runs the ball a lot. He is very good at it.

I really feel like the Bears will trade down to get an extra pick or two. I feel like Poles will want to stockpile the team with a bunch of rookies who have a chance of making the roster and/or for depth.

Yep.............overall I thought he was the best WR at the Senior Bowl in both the practices and game. The only dislike I can see was his level of competition.

Don't the bears have like 70-75% of their cap on the defensive side?

I personally have fixing the OL as the number one priority.

But you just listed a prime reason why D might need to be more of a focus than we think.

The way he moves with the ball reminds me a little bit of Matt Forte. That can't be a bad thing.

Every move this team made last year was for the offense including this year's 1st round pick ?.. It's defense turn , sorry.
Exactly.

CB and o-line is the priority, not WR.

I'm certain they will not take a WR in the 2nd round. And if they do...he won't immediately help the offense as much as a better center.
