I'd also point out that we are getting Tarik Cohen back.

I'm not a big fan, but the meatballs have assured me he creates a huge problem for defenses when he's out there...big receiving threat outta the back field.?

He’s getting cut. And no one is saying that. Yet another dumb post.

If the Bears trade down in the 2nd, Watson is one of the guys I'd be looking at. While he wouldn't be a bad pick at 39, and certainly could be gone if the Bears trade down 10-15 pick, I think this is a loaded WR class and would be happy with several guys after a trade down (Watson, Pickens, Robinson, Metchie). Whereas at 39, I'm staying put if a guy I think is a 1st round talent (Olave, Zion, Winfrey) falls to the early 2nd like Jenkins did last year.

As for Watson, he's great. Big (6'4"), fast, great catch radius, and he's not your typical jump ball WR at his size. Dude can really separate. Ironically, he reminds me of Valdez-Scantling so I'd imagine the Bears and Getsy would have a lot of interest in him. I do think he can do more than MVS, as he's just not a big play threat. NDSU used him in the backfield like Deebo. They used him in the screen game to get the ball in his hands. But the reason why I'm not super comfortable with him at 39 is because he's not a proven high-volume guy, so maybe not a true #1, which is fine but there are other guys who have shown they can be 80/1000 guys in college that are good fall back options.

Every move this team made last year was for the offense including this year's 1st round pick ?.. It's defense turn , sorry.
We weren't even averaging 20 points per game last year. I don't like having an impotent defense out on the field, but it really doesnt matter how good the defense is if we cant improve our ppg.

We have a lot of needs on this team, but OL and WR have to be a priority for us. This team doing everything it can to help Fields develop requires it.

Fine. Then the Bears will have no offense or defense. The only thing positive that happened here in the last 2 years is hiring defensive minded head coach.

Exactly.

CB and o-line is the priority, not WR.

I'm certain they will not take a WR in the 2nd round. And if they do...he won't immediately help the offense as much as a better center.
You want priorities, take your pick
DL
OL
WR
CB
That would be the big four.

I think DL will be a sneaky need behind OL and WR. Devonte Wyatt is my guy if by some miracle he slips to the 3rd, which he probably won’t.

Always love the

Not comfortable with picking him at 39; but would love him at 49; analysis.

News flash....if he's acceptable at 49, then he's perfectly fine at 39.....end of the day; if he's a difference maker, who cares where he was picked.

No one has ever said that Tarik Cohen causes match up problems for defenses.

Really?
Not what you claimed with 'Huge Problems' and everything has been said here. Just not a dominant take by the board though it is the idea behind using a player like Cohen. I think the more common response was 'stop running sideways' when it comes to Cohen. A good scheme may help those matchups if he's got his chops back but Nagy's sure didn't do much forward attacking with Cohen. If you don't see how a healthy Cohen could present some matchup problems, I don't Know what to say.

For the record, I didn't like that contract and though he ran sideways too much but he was also underutilized sneaking out of the backfield or even doing quick sets in the slot.

So you like Cohen for next year?

It's tough to get through your word-salad sometimes.

Doesn't surprise me considering that you completely lack any grasp of nuance and all your responses are black or umm, black.
